GAME OF THE YEAR. love everything about the game. joel is a beast. The game’s atmospheric world design adds another layer to its brilliance. The post-pandemic landscapes are hauntingly beautiful, creating an immersive environment that enhances the sense of desolation and survival. The attention to detail is evident in every dilapidated building, overgrown street, and the haunting soundtrack that accompanies the players on their journey.

Gameplay in “The Last of Us” is a delicate dance between tension and release. Combat is visceral and strategic, demanding resourcefulness and adaptability. The stealth mechanics add a layer of realism, making every encounter a calculated risk. Yet, it is the moments of quiet exploration, scavenging for supplies, and bonding with Ellie that provide a welcome respite, enriching the overall gaming experience.

The game is perfect, from the first part to the second part of the game, including the series which is masterfully made. The characters are brilliantly done with a good story and events that accompany them throughout the entire series.

Great game, I enjoyed the story. Nice adventure. I have to say that I had fun and I could have played it for a long time, but the story had to end at some point. I can highly recommend it. And here at Instant gaming at a great price !

10/10 Game

100% Recommend to Buy !

Would recommend playing the game at its current state. Amazing story, characters, characters development and gameplay. The difference in optimization is massive, I have played since launch, since day 1 and the game used to be awfully optimized, stutters, low frame rates, crashes, etc. Now its a playable game and you dont need the most high-end computer to enjoy it. Its great they finally ported the remake to PC and I hope they port the part 2 soon.

"The Last of Us Part 1" is a masterpiece that seamlessly blends gripping storytelling, emotionally charged characters, and intense gameplay to deliver an unforgettable gaming experience. Developed by Naughty Dog, this action-adventure game stands as a shining example of narrative-driven gaming at its finest.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by a fungal infection, the game follows Joel, a hardened survivor, and Ellie, a young girl with a mysterious immunity to the infection, as they embark on a perilous journey across the United States. The character development is exceptional, with Joel's complex past and Ellie's resilience creating a strong emotional connection for players. The bond that forms between them is the beating heart of the game, driving players forward through the harrowing landscapes and morally ambiguous choices.

The game's attention to detail is evident in its stunning visuals and atmospheric design. The dilapidated cities and overgrown landscapes create a hauntingly beautiful backdrop for the unfolding narrative. The soundtrack, composed by Gustavo Santaolalla, complements the somber tone perfectly, enhancing the emotional impact of key moments.

The Last of Us Part 1 sets a high bar for cinematic storytelling in video games, with a narrative that is both mature and thought-provoking. Its compelling characters, coupled with intense and strategic gameplay, make it a must-play title for anyone seeking a deeply immersive and emotionally resonant gaming experience. Even years after its release, The Last of Us Part 1 continues to be celebrated as a landmark achievement in the gaming industry.

Played this game for the first time on PC over the past week. I had previously played part 2 on PS4. I got a relatively steady 100 fps at 4k and never had a single bug, crash or issue. I loved the game, however if truth be told I think part 2 is a better game. It was worth playing the game, but don’t think I’d want to replay again. I believe part 2 is coming to PC near end of 2024, so looking forward to that.

The game is still one of the best story games that exist so far, but this remastered version is not made for any pc that is in terms of performance as weak/strong as a PS4 and the optimization of the graphics isnt made good in any way, so you need a high performance PC to play this game on smooth 60 fps.

Story is one of the greatest. You start playing and you simply can't avoid the immersion of being inside of th story and feeling the relationships of the characters and what they're going through.

This is a PC port from Playstation and those who are playing, are being beta testers. It's playable and you can enjoy, though I would wait a few more months and check for reviews about it to be sure it's already polished.

Don't be fooled, I only recommend this with a mid tier+ setup, and you need to give time for the devs to continue to optimize this game. Clearly the newer cpu's, such as intel, with E-Cores, are clearly a stone in the shoe. Take that in mind.

It works well on higher-end PCs but not so much on low to mid-end. You can still adjust the settings according to your specs. Other than that, it is a great game and I got it for a good price. I'd recommend buying games on this website as it cheaper than most other ones.

I have wait for very long time to play this game.

Gameplay was very good, everything run pretty smooth except few glitches ( only like 4 times game crushed during whole story), even that is fixed now I guess.

What I didn't like was that I couldn't play on controller, response was very weird like slow motion and creating shaders after each update.

How ever I had great time playing Last of us part I.

Excellent graphics but original release was ridiculously buggy. Had game crash back to Windows 2-3 times for each hour of play.

Decent spec pc (i9 10940X, 64GB RAM, RTX3090, Intel Optane 900P NVMe, latest drivers) but the system still struggled at times. The first full patch (1.0.2) seems to have fixed crashing on my system.

I have survived 10 years spoiler-free of The Last of Us.

It was the number 1 game I wanted to play but I never could because I didn't own a PlayStation.

What a wonderful story, graphics, and gameplay.

I didn't meet many issues as I can see with most people. Recommended!

I had managed to avoid spoilers for this game and hadn’t watched the series before finishing the game. So I didn’t know too much going into this game other than there was a fungal apocalypse and that it would be a great story. And truly, This is one of the best games I have ever played. The story, the cinematography, the music, and the characters are just well thought out and executed. Many people have reviewed bombing this game since its initial release and sure the shader compilation is the longest I have ever experienced (it took 25-30 minutes for me).

However, once they were compiled I didn’t have any particle issues and the game was rather smooth on high 1440p. I experienced one crash and two minor bugs throughout my entire playthrough. And the crash happened before the first patch that was launched shortly after the release. It also seemed like most of the crashes were associated with starting the game before the shaders were completely compiled, which is not recommended. The bugs didn’t really affect my experience either I just had to restart the scene. At one time I got back to the spot I should have been if the game didn’t bug and the other time I had to play for 30 seconds to get back where I was before the game bugged.

This game was a really good experience and I quickly got invested in the story. I would give the game itself a 10 out of 10. But I think that the implementation of the game to PC could have been better and the initial launch takes too long. And it seemed like the one-day 30 mb patch could have saved Naughty Dog a lot of struggle regarding how bad it runs. However, I hope that this release doesn’t deter them from continuing with this franchise because I would really appreciate a part two for PC.

Don't buy this game. Its a bad console port. Crashes all the time. Game looks good, even though you have to run it on really low settings, but that does not help. It crashes all the time. This game is to be bought when on sale.

I know that there are really bad reviews, but I didn't have any issues. I have 32GB RAM, a 7700x and a RTX 4080. My advice is to let the game compile the shaders, it will take some time but it will save you of some trouble.

It has its technical difficulties. Initially, it would take over a minute to load in the next area, but that settled early enough. Even with a gtx 1080 and a ryzen 3600 it ran at 40fps only on 1080p High Quality. You cant deny the view though...

Soo.... after about 15 hours, I'm done with the game.

It was the first time I played it, and I was blown away. I can honestly say that it's now one of my top 3 favorite games of all time.

Yes, I've heard about negative feedback, disastrous review ratings and horror stories about constant crashes, exploding PCs, potatoes that suddenly turn into chips.

Personally, I had one crash after about 10 hours, while I played around with the photo mode.

Well, I also had a visual bug where Ellie walked through a bush and suddenly started flying for about 2 seconds, but that's really it.

Other than that, I was completely stunned. The scenery is AMAZING. So many gorgeous areas. The level design is outstanding. So many gorgeous nuances and details.

Graphics as a whole, just really well done, and then there are areas in the snow for example where it's almost photorealistic. Even in my first playthrough, I took tons of screenshots cause there was so much to see.

Voice acting is just great. The characters and their voices fit really well together.

Music is amazing, too. Sound effects are great.

The strongest part of the game is the story.

The writing, the characters and their biographies, how people interact and bond with each other, how the story unfolds, always packed with enough suspense to keep you interested, just perfect.

One thing that bothered me were the sometimes really wonky looking animations, especially for the horses and riding part. The controls there felt weird, too.

What else is to be said? Hmm. Partly you're walking in thin corridors, but there are also many areas where you've got freedom to explore.

Enemy AI is kinda dumb, so my usual arch enemy, the stealth parts, weren't much of an issue.

By playing you collect unlock points, which you can use to buy new skins for your characters, weapons, gear, or even unlock cheats for your next playthrough, like unlimited ammo, one hit melee kills, and many other things...

One odd thing to mention is crafting. For some upgrades, Joel is really "adding" parts to the guns, and then there are upgrades where he just takes a cloth, rubs the gun and then tadaa! -upgrade done- . uhm...?

Yeah well, overall i did enjoy the game a lot and i will replay it a few times, cause there are quite a lot collectables to find.

And then... sadly a very long wait for Part 2.

This game is one of the worst PC ports ever. Not that stable high FPS would be a problem when you lower the settings from ultra but it runs so poorly, cutscenes audio is sometimes not even synced with the video or subtitles .... Mathematically more complex textures such as hair, beard, etc. are laggy as hell, even in pre rendered cutscenes, this game seriously damaged my brain, its such a masterpiece on the PS, TLoU 2 on PS5 was 4k60FPS HDR stable 24/7 masterpiece and they promised to bring this to PC using unreal engine 5 and the trailers looked great but this is terrible, unfortunately you cannot request a refund thru a retailer it seems so my only option is to wait if some patches would come. But it would be still broken i guess, the patches are gonna be like GTA trilogy imho, there is way too many things to be fixed, its still gonna be unplayable.

I know that the story is good and the game is good. The launch in pc though is the worst optimized game that I have ever played. Poor performance and render makes it a PS3 era game with no graphical beauty to offer at all. I was hyped as hell and I jumped into it as soon as I came back at home but it was a disappointment. I don't know if it will get better, most probably yes, but at the current state, 1 day after the launch it is not recommended.

The game is really good on its own, however, if a PC with really great specs (Ryzen 9 3900X, RTX 3060, 32GB Ram @3666Mhz) can barely run it at 45 fps at med-hight settings then I would not recommend it
