Worth every penny, amazing addition to the base game with really tough boss fights and spectacular OST's. Enjoyed the main game, loved the DLC. It's hard to put into words how much I have both enjoyed and struggled with it.

For the fans of dark souls... The areas arent as long as the story locations, but they are really good looking. The bosses are great and challenging. With the price being cut significantly on IG it makes it worth your time.

I must say I really underestimated this game and it's depth.

This isn't simply a challenging RPG where you can fight tough bosses and loads of enemies, this game actually primarely focusses on discovery and exploration. Yes fighting is very important and you can't beat the game without it, but if you only care for the enemies you miss 60% of the items, NPCs, Questlines and more.

And while the game is challenging, it's also "fair" you have quite a lot of possibilities and there's a lot of "cheese".. big tough enemy that you just can't hit more than once with your sword? No problem, just buy a bunch of throwing knives or arrows and deal with it from afar.

Also this game has hands-down the best replay-ability of all games of this type, most games that tend to be very replayable have either user-created content/gameplay and/or a lot of branching content, story and mechanics to explore, this game is the latter.

... but no matter how frustrating this game gets, you'll come back for more.
