great game, one of best TES games. worth purchasing especially at this price. If you haven't played it yet you owe it to yourself to give it a go. You can really get into the story of Elder Scrolls Skyrim if you're a person that likes the story as much as gameplay.
Graphics are ok, they are not as huge of a step up as Oblivion was in its day. They are definitely good enough, but they aren't really special. Even for 2013.
That's all I'll say.

You can play 500 hours in this game without even completing the main questline. I love the roleplay too much. Greatest medieval-magic game ever. Thank you bethesda.
Suggestion: Even if you play 1080p, try DSR the game to 2k or 4k and remove antialias. (also use official HD textures patch). It is just TOO gorgeous.

A good remastered edition of a classic RPG, it's still Skyrim but with better graphics and all the DLCs included (Hearthfire, Dragonborn, Dawnguard). The modding community is present as well so hop on in and start again in a new-er version of that old game.

The game is okay and I suggest you to buy it just because of the mods honestly. Story is kind of bad just because there were no cutscenes and some dialogues were too long in my opinion. The graphics are really bad tho sometimes my eyes hurt after playing for like 15 minutes xD Basically without at least 10+ mods this game is kinda boring and there are juist so many glitches, bugs and other stuff that destroys the game without mods. With the right mods you can make this game really fun to play. The game has decent third person FOV but you can't see anything that is in front of you due to that big crosshair and yourself literally in the middle of the screen :/ First person is kidna horrible cause of the physics so you'll just see the screen shaking a lot when moving and you won't be able to see anything on the sides because of your huge weapons.

Awesome game, even if I'm not a singleplayer lover. Animations can be a bit woody every now and then, but there's a lot to do, you always have something to do around the map. There are lots of skills you can acquire and you can choose to fight with a sword, magic, sword and shield, being stealth firing arrows with a bow and stuff.
I recommend installing some mods to improve graphics and remove bugs, but you have to be careful. It happened to me 2-3 times that the game would reset and lose every savings I had.
Overall, a great game to have.

The best game ever, at least for me. If you like Nordic things and fairy tales with dragons, or different things mystics, you will definitely want to love this game. The story is also very good and there is an opportunity to do everything in your way. Warrior, thief or magician. Like RPG always has, but it's never ending. Always done more than five times with different breed and like to do it again. It's fun, calm and emotion, everything included.
Access is the environment, the great map to discover and the missions.
Many is many mistakes can, MOD is not paid for the achievements.

If you are a fan of exploration and adventure, then you should probably play skyrim special edition. what i loved about the game was the exploration, overall lore, and the combat was great. The story of a warrior destined to defeat an all powerful being from who knows where, just made me want to find out more of what was actually in store for me. I would really recommend you play this game yourself because everyone has different feelings towards these types of games, but trust me when I say, that you wont be disappointed, and remember, always look to the sky when exploring.

Im on my 15th playthrough on this game, and probably have 3k hours in it at least. Its by far the best and most fun game ive ever experienced. I totally recommend it to everyone. 10/10 masterpiece. You cant really finish the game twice the same way. Countless choices, friendships, relationships etc etc. Ive said enough, buy it and play it, you wont regret it!

Awesome game! At the price point it was even better! This edition is a great way to get into the game and have all the DLC in one spot. I really wish they would’ve finished the story of the high king. There is even a total conversion mod coming out for Morrowind.

Overview
What’s there to be said about Skyrim that has not already been said? Skyrim is the definition of a classic role-playing game. It is the yardstick by which all RPGs are judged. If you have been living under a rock and want to know about Skyrim is, then you’ve come to the right place. You start off the game as a prisoner who is about to be executed, and on the way, you are slowly informed about the state of the world and the factions in conflict. As you are resting your head on the chopping block, a dragon comes and throws everything into disarray. As you escape, you choose between 2 factions(doesn’t really have too much of an impact) and are given a simple task to start you off.
This game is what you make of it
Okay, then what?
You may be wondering what to do next, and that is the beauty of this game. You can do whatever you want. You have no obligations or appointments; you can do as you please. You can choose to go hunting for monsters, you can go explore caves, or you can do the main quests and help your faction in their tasks as you ultimately try and kill the dragons. The world is your oyster and the game is what you make of it. You may want to go into the world of wizardry, in which case you would want to check out the school for magic and take a few classes. You want to go kill monsters? Better head out to the mountains and unexplored caves that are filled with monsters loot waiting for you.
What’s so ‘special’ about this edition?
This edition is the ultimate edition available. It comes with the base game plus all the DLCs as well as remastered graphics. If you haven’t played Skyrim yet for some reason, then pick this up. If you are looking to experience Skyrim again, but don’t want to deal with the outdated graphics and bugs then this is also worth a buy. This is the perfect pack for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of Skyrim. Oh, one thing that hasn’t changed are the chickens. DO NOT kill the chickens unless you want an entire village on your tail seeking revenge!
Mods, mods and more mods
Skyrim is pretty much what made modding mainstream. If you want a more unique Skyrim experience then modding is what you need and while skyrim has every kind of mod imaginable, the Skyrim: Special Edition has its Script Extender only in Alpha. Still, there are a lot of mods ranging from enhanced graphics to reskinning the entire game into something cartoon-y is available to you. There are already numerous mods for the game and more are to be expected as the script extender inches closer to full release.
What’s ‘not so special’
Sadly, Bethesda missed out on a massive opportunity to improve much upon the original game. While the graphics are better than the original, it is by no means up to modern standards. The other issue I have would be the Bethesda Creation Club. While this has made modding your game more streamlined, they have tried using it in an exploitative manner, which is a shame. Nonetheless, steam workshop and third party modding sites are always there. All in all, there aren’t any true negatives to be worried about if you are looking for a good game.
Is it worth it?
If I haven’t been clear by this point, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IN THIS GAME. As long as you are okay playing an open world, action-adventure fantasy game you will have a blast with this. The best part is each person experiences this game differently. You may choose to do things that your friend had no idea that you could even do. It encourages multiple plays with different playstyles and different character archetypes, which adds to the overall replayability of the game. That with the large modding community for the game should make it a memorable experience for years to come.

Skyrim is always a win, just like this website. The online capabilities that come with this and ST (Skyrim Together) make this a must buy with friends though it's still a work in progress. (90/100 because its a sad remaster made for Bethesda's cash cow, with no real effort put in to improve it.)

If you're a fan of skyrim like I am you can't go wrong with it. I used to play the game and the SE edition cracked but I decided to try mod it and's been awesome so far. Sure it is not as pleasant to look at as the reworked version but you can actually mod it to look better or, if you want to, to look worse and get extra performance.

This is an absolutely great time-killer. There is no point in getting the Special Edition if you plan on modding as SKSE64 has been mostly dropped for now/indefinitely. If modding the graphics can be made to look just as good if not better than SE. If you're unfamiliar with this title then you have been missing out.

Skyrim the legendery edition is just that: legendary. No more no less. There's so much to do in such a huge univers, and you can do them in so many different ways that, even if the game itself never really changes, it feels like a Rogue-like, since it's never twice the same experience! What's more, the community of the game is still highly active. It's one of those games like Left 4 dead which just doesn't want to die *pun intended*. I would highly recommend this game if you are a fan of RPG open worlds, if you like Scandinavian culture and there myths which are a huge source for the lore of this elder scrolls' game, if you like playing your own way and not like the game is forcing you a play style. It's also the perfect game for anyone who can't afford too many games: it's relativly new, and now thatthe special edition has come out it's given a rebirth but if your pc is a bit old i'ld suggest taking this version, especially since most of the mods havn't been adapted yet.
As too mods, wait until you at least a first 15 hour play through so you gain a good feel of the game.

This is one of the best games I ever had the pleasure to play it.
Just amazing, especially if you take in Mind that it is already nearly to 5 years old.
I can recommend this to any-/everyone who is into 3D oldschool fantasy RPG. A must have for anyone who played already an other TES-Game and enjoyed it, but always wanted a better Graphic. Even tho this title is 5 years old, with the correct mods and ENB its looking AMAZING!
(Only downside, the complexity of gameplay has diminished since the older titles of the TES Series)
