◆ The Tengu’s Disciple
The Tengu’s Disciple takes the protagonist to the end of the Heian period, where the Genji and Heike clans were competing ruthlessly with one another. Experience the battle that acts as a prologue which reveals how the story of Nioh 2 came to be.
◆ Darkness in the Capital
Darkness in the Capital takes place during the middle of the Heian period, a point in history where evil spirits and yokai ran rampant throughout Japan. The protagonist is brought back to this period and ventures to the capital where they will uncover the connections between an even more distant past and the present time period from which they came.
◆ The First Samurai
The First Samurai brings the protagonist to the Suzuka Pass during the beginning of the Heian period. In the climactic 3rd expansion of the Nioh 2 saga, the protagonist will once again confront their arch-nemesis, Otakemaru.

The game is amazing. Just buy it if you are a souls fans. Just don't play it the way you'd play a souls game bc the game will punish it. I've played all the souls games and many souls likes and i definitely think this game is way harder than any of the games ive played even games like Sekiro.
Don't let that discourage you! The games has its own unique and amazing mechanics. It could seems a bit overwhelming though but i assure you it is so satisfying when you learn the combat mechanics. There are many different skill trees and weapons you can pick up at any time.
I really think the game shines with its level and boss design. Nioh 2 has some of the best if not the best bosses visually I've ever seen. While they aren't mechanical masterpieces like bosses like Gael the fights are really cool.
A drawback for me is the leveling system. The missions have a recommended level which you are 90% way below which could be confusing. I think this level applies to the gear level more than the character level bc you can be very low level with some strong gear and ninjutsu and whipe bosses and enemies out.
Overall, its a vary solid game. Its gorgeous and its very structured. It doesn't feel dull bc of the incorporation of Japanese mythology which makes even the basic enemies feel exciting. The game is tough and challenging but its truly amazing

Nioh 2 is a souls like dungeon crawler.
Compared to the first Nioh it is special with regard to the new and exciting mechanics, but above all for the possibility of being able to create a character from scratch.
Creating a character allows you to create a personal story, of your samurai or other classes.
I recommend this game for those looking for a much tougher challenge than Dark souls.

I have started with Nioh 1 back then in 2018, invested 1500h on PC + 300h on PS4 (Since I started after complete edition was launched)
In Nioh 2 I have invested 1350h so far on PS4 and 66h at PC version currently! Game is amazing, Nioh 2 PC Port is hell better then Nioh 1! About game there is noting much I could say except that my hours and my gameplay speaks more then I could describe here! All recommendations!

It is a great game for an old Dark Souls gamer like me.
It makes some things way better than the original Nioh.
The story is a little meh but it is not soo bad that it is a bad point.

My first Nioh game, watched some videos from other series and decided that i will buy this one.
So i have like 20 hours and the game is awesome all around except some scenes where FPS drops. You can also play multiplayer co-op or with your friends so thats a plus.
Playing on a controller 9/10.
