Mirror's Edge to niezwykle oryginalna gra. Znajdziemy w niej elementy wielu gatunków, które połączone są ze sobą w taki sposób, że granie sprawia mnóstwo zabawy.
Ukłony w stronę twórców za wszystko, co da się zrobić podczas gry czyli niesamowita szybkość rozgrywki robi wrażenie. Niestety muszę ich również zganić, za to, że gra jest zbyt schematyczna, udajemy się na miejsce akcji, coś się dzieje i zaraz musimy uciekać przed policją.
Minus też za to, że gra przypomina korytarz, czasem bardzo wąski, czasem w miarę szeroki, zarówno pod względem warstwy fabularnej, jak i właśnie rozgrywki. Fabuła jest w pełni liniowa, a podczas gry jedynymi wyborami jest to, z której strony obiegniemy jakąś przeszkodę oraz czy zaatakujemy wroga, czy wykorzystując szerokość wspomnianego korytarza przed nim uciekniemy. Jako atuty dodam piekną grafikę i pseudo tryb multiplayer, w którego niestety nie zdążyłem sprawdzić. Wiem, że nie polega on na wspólnej grze wielu osób, a na "wymianie" swoich rekordów przez internet.
Jako kolejny minus - długość rozgrywki dla jednego gracza na poziomie około 6 godzin.
Podsumowując grę Mirror's Edge z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić. ;)
