A True Multiplayer Chaos!
In every game of Super Mario Bros. 35, players will compete in a randomly selected configuration of levels from the original Super Mario Bros., so get ready for the unexpected! Players can suggest and vote on which level they want the match to start on — meaning it could even begin in Bowser’s castle in World 8-4, for example!

Race Against Time
You’re not just competing against 34 other players in Super Mario Bros. 35 — you also need to keep an eye on the clock!

Each player starts with 35 seconds on the timer, but can earn more time by stomping on Goombas, Koopas, and any other enemies that appear on screen.

Annoy the Competition
Taking down enemies like Cheep Cheeps or Buzzy Beetles doesn’t just earn you time — it also sends those enemies to other players’ screens to make things even harder for them!

Switch between four different strategies: target players with the most knockouts, those who are about to lose, defend yourself from incoming enemies, and more.

If you manage to eliminate another player by overwhelming them with enemies, you'll earn all the remaining time on their clock, as well as the coins they collected during the match.

Coin Collector
Don’t just focus on defeating enemies — collecting coins is key to staying in the game! Spend them mid-match to receive a random power-up from the item roulette, such as a Fire Flower or a Super Star.

Something Special
Aside from the standard 35-player battles, you can test your platforming skills in Special Battles. These limited-time events have specific conditions — like having all the levels be castle stages, for example. Things can get very interesting!
