The Evil Within is a psychological survival horror and it lives up to that the most places. The story might seem a bit bland, even though you kinda wanna find out what the hell is going on, but the great atmosphere makes up for that.

Ammo is scarce and you will want to explore more instead of just running through the level because of ammo, med kits and green gel which you use to upgrade stuff like weapon damage, max health and more. You can stealth kill the enemies from behind, but you move pretty slow when you're crouching and you have very low stamina when you're sprinting. There will be multiple bosses which are pretty intimidating. Boss battles are hard, but its a bit annoying when some of the bosses insta kill you. The game is beautiful, but demanding.
