Embark on a Pokémon photography adventure!
Become a Pokémon photographer in New Pokémon Snap for Nintendo Switch.

Inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game, this title takes you on a photo safari through the scorching deserts, lush jungles, and many other environments of the Lental region, where wild Pokémon thrive in their natural habitats.

You'll explore an archipelago aboard the NEO-ONE, a rail-based floating vehicle, to photograph over 200 Pokémon in action. Each photo is evaluated by Professor Mirror using a one-to-four-star system, based on how rare or interesting the Pokémon's behavior is. These photos help fill out your Pokémon Photodex, a visual catalog of your discoveries.

To capture the best shots, you can use a variety of tools:

Fluffruit: a tasty snack to lure Pokémon.

Melody player: plays tunes that may cause certain Pokémon to dance or react.

Illumina orbs: special items that make Pokémon glow and sometimes behave differently.

After each expedition, use the Re-Snap feature to edit your photos—adjust zoom, brightness, blur, or add filters, frames, and stickers. You can also share your creations online and receive “Sweet!” medals from other players.

New Pokémon Snap offers a peaceful, immersive experience that’s perfect for photography lovers and Pokémon fans alike.
