Command troops across tense line-war battlefields, where every position can decide the battle. Skirmishers cling to walls and woods for cover. Line infantry hold open ground with disciplined volleys. Keep your men in step and they'll hold firm. Let the line fall apart and morale can give way, turning order into panic as broken squads flee the fight.  

• Deploy line infantry, skirmishers, riflemen, minutemen, grenadiers, militia, field cannon, and heavy cavalry

• Position your units based on the terrain you encounter , using cover, open ground, and the line bonus to keep morale steady

• Call in fire support from howitzers, mortars, and heavy cannons , then spend Influence on commands like Rally and Mass Charge

• Order squads to march, charge, hold, or fall back as morale swings across the field

Between battles, lead a single army across the northern colonies in real time. Fog of war hides enemy positions until you close the distance. Supplies drain as you travel, fatigue builds over rough country, and the seasons turn from summer heat to winter snow.

• March your army while managing Supplies and Fatigue, setting the pace for your men

• Visit towns to recruit Manpower, gather Horses, and stock Munitions

• Search points of interest like abandoned munitions, wild horses, and a roadside tavern, pushing through forest, hills, and swamp as you go

Begin as a fresh officer with a handful of militia and a name of your choosing. Your background, whether physician, cavalryman, or orator, shapes your starting resources and the choices open to you in events. Every region leans Crown or Patriot, and your actions tip the balance. 

• Create your officer and pick a background that changes your resources, costs, and event options

• Fight for the Continental Army to retake occupied cities, or the British Empire to quell the rebellion

• Raise rebellion or enforce loyalty to the crown, swaying each region between Crown and Patriot

• Make choices in events and follow objectives that arrive as orders, unlocking units and upgrades as you rise in rank
