Szenario „Drachenthron“
Ein riesiges Einzelszenario. Legenden zufolge sollen am Anbeginn der Zeit Drachen über das berühmte Meer der Flammen geherrscht haben. Aber wahre Drachen wurden schon lange nicht mehr gesichtet. Auf den Inseln befinden sich jedoch noch immer zahllose Schätze, die Abenteurer, Händler, Halunken und Glücksritter anlocken. Nun haben acht Fürsten ein geheimnisvolles Drachenei gefunden – und jeder sieht es als Zeichen seines Anspruchs auf den Drachenthron. Die Gelehrten warnen vor dem Zorn der Drachen, aber die Fürsten kümmert das nicht – und sie bereiten sich darauf vor, in den Krieg zu ziehen. Tretet gegen KI-Gegner oder bis zu 7 weitere menschliche Spieler an.

„Age of Wonders III“-Soundtrack
Der zweistündige Soundtrack zu Age of Wonders III wurde von Altmeister Michiel van den Bos komponiert, der auch für die Soundtracks von Unreal, Deus Ex, Overlord und Age of Wonders 1 verantwortlich war. Der Soundtrack umfasst einunddreißig MP3 & FLAC-Tracks in bester 320-kbs-Qualität aus Age of Wonders III sowie fünf exklusive Bonus-Tracks. Darüber hinaus gehören ein englischer Covertext des Komponisten und JPG-Dateien für ein Jewel-Case-Inlay zum Soundtrack. Lasst Euch verzaubern!

Songs und andere Dateien des Soundtracks werden im AoW3-Ordner des Steam-Verzeichnisses abgelegt: „...Steam\steamapps\common\AoW3\OST“

Sie können über einen Dateimanager aufgerufen werden oder mit den folgenden Schritten:
1) Rechtsklickt auf „Age of Wonders III“ im Spieleverzeichnis von Steam.
2) Wählt „Eigenschaften“.
3) Wählt unter „Age of Wonders III – Eigenschaften“ den Reiter „Lokale Dateien“.
4) Wählt „Lokale Dateien durchsuchen …“ und öffnet den Ordner des Spiels.
5) Dort befindet sich der Ordner „OST“, in dem die Musik-Dateien gespeichert sind.
