I like this primal version of Farcry. It's a lot of fun to play and the side missions are fun too. You can have your own kind of 'town'. Also the ancestor of Hurk from Farcry 4 makes an appearance in the game ;-)

The game mechanics and graphics quality of every release seems to get better. The stories are what set it apart. This storyline is a bit unique and offers some pleasant subject matter but the missions are a bit stale and repetitive if you have played all in the series.

My ongoing review: Visually impressive, but becomes repetitive.
After approx 25% completion I'm feeling like I'm doing the same thing over and over: tracking a certain animal to craft a certain item/weapon to allow me access to the next area of the map to do it all over again.
I'd only pay $20 or less for this, even though it looks very nice when you can max it out. on a gtx1070 it handles 1440p very well though I do see periodic drops into the 50fps range but not very often, with only a few things less than maximum (my cpu is old)

A really nice surprise! I honestly did not expect that game to be so addictive.
I feared the lack of RPGs and sniper rifles, as an old Far Cry player, but they are largely compensated with lots of archaic yet effective weapons. :-)

Very good game, I played all Far Cry from series and this one was the best for me bacause I love nature and history. Its very positive try aim and shoot with bow, machine guns are so bored. I completed story after 30 hours, you can try " 1 kill mode" but thats all.

If you need an idea for an open world game that you would love to play just buy Far Cry 3 and see if this is the type of game you like.

This is just Far Cry 4 but with no guns, I honestly hate to say it but that's about what it is.
I mean, the world is pretty detailed and open, you get to have a powerful animal companions and some characters are okay unless you love killing things over and over this isn't really gonna last.

I was never an FPS-genre fan from the beginning. I hate with the limited field of view. Somehow it all changed after I played this game. I felt the adventure of Takkar in me :)
really enjoyed the stories and also the animals.
The game difficulty is also acceptible, nothing is too easy or too difficult that you cant beat.
I wish they release more DLCs with stories.

Le fusil de sniper me manque.

E' il solito far cry ma senza armi da fuoco.
Devi conquistare insediamenti e per farlo sarai armato di gufo (al posto del binocolo) e di animali che domerai durante il gioco ( lupi, orsi ecc...) che potrai usare per uccidere gli altri.
Vegetazione migliorata, effetti d'ombra migliorati, tant'e' che a volte sara' difficile vedere tra la vegetazione i nemici o i predatori (se non fosse per la minimappa).
La mappa e' vasta e completamente esplorabile.
E' un buon gioco ma nulla di che.

Juegazo donde los haya. Criticado por ser de Ubisoft y por copiar el mapa de Far Cry 4 (en esto último les doy la razón)
Pero el nivel de inmersión alcanzando en este juego y su maravillosa ambientación (marca de la casa) hace de este, un imprescindible.
Jugar en modo experto, sin hud (bueno lo justo y necesario), sin mapa ni marcadores...es toda una experiencia.
La jugabilidad es novedosa ya que no disponemos de armas de fuego (salvo las flechas de nuestro arco) así que cada combate ha de ser bien estudiado.
No tiene rival en la actualidad y gráficamente se ve estupendo.
Domar animales, conquistar campamentos, sí sí, también marca de la casa pero 10 mil años antes de nuestra era....tiene su atractivo.
Hubiera querido ver más tribus rivales y que hubiera habido lluvia o tormentas. Eso de que "transcurre en verano" como nos dijeron en Far Cry 4 es una excusa barata.
Como último aporte decir que este juego lo recomiendo jugar: SIN MÚSICA. Ya que la inmersión en 100 veces mayor.
Otro de los castigados por la crítica injustificada, pero una obra maestra de Ubisoft.
Sin duda.

belle reconstitution de monde pré-historique aux niveaux de l’environnement, des animaux et du monde tribal. Un peu horrifique et stressant (pas de répits).
Sympa l'IA avec les animaux dressés / montés. Map pas géante mais suffisante.
L'histoire n'est pas terrible, c'est là le bémol avec le côté redondant des mission secondaire.
Parfois un vrai labyrinthe dans des grottes géantes pour trouver une quête.
Une map où il y a quasi autant sur terre que sous terre.

le plus nul des far cry, moche les textures sont degeu et meme les cinematique donnent la gerbe, deplacement trop long car quasiment tout a pied dans un monde ou il faut sans cesse contourner le relief, tu te fais agresser par tout les animaux tt le temps (tout les 20m) impossible d'etre tranquille car tu passe ton temps a evite les animaux qui sont des fois quasi invinsible, mission secondaire a evite car elles sont nulles (aller d'un point A a un point B)amusement 0% rage 50% ennui 50% seul le systeme de craft est a garder; en plus le jeu est basé sur un mode jeu a distance car au corps a corps on a qu'une arme avec le couteau mais la vegetation et le relief empeche tout gameplay a distance

Bon alors remettons les choses dans le contexte pour moi Far Cry c'était avant tout le 1er. Ce FPS horreur en monde semi-ouvert... un plaisir ! Après ils ont sorties le 2, le 3, le 4... De mon point de vue ce sont des copies conformes entre elles, mise à part l'arsenal, la carte et les graphismes au fur et à mesure des années qui ont évolués, rien de bien innovant.
Mais alors là, rangez moi tout ça, on part sur clairement sur un jeu qui n'a rien à voir avec la franchise sinon le nom.
Dan ce volet Primal, on incarne un chasseur à l'époque de l'age de pierre luttant pour sa survie au début. Rapidement on sera amener à devoir gérer et proteger un village. Du farm mais pas trop histoire d’améliorer et diversifier son équipement. Une assez bonne diversité d’espèces à chasser dans le jeu.
La carte est relativement grande, les seules reproches que je pourrais faire serais le coté répétitif mais bon dans les jeux open world c'est plutôt courant et la faible diversité d'ennemies autre que les prédateurs.
Ah oui et les montures ou lorsque l'on chevauche un tigre à dents de sabre on a l'impression de "conduire" n'importe quelle véhicule motorisé tellement l’animation est mal faite.
Je recommande ce jeu mille fois. j'ai mis 30 heures pour le finir à 100% en y allant tranquille.

Ich kann mich einfach nicht von diesem Game losreißen. Ich habe es sowohl auf der Xbox als auch auf dem Pc. Momentan Spiele ich es gerade wieder durch und kann es nur empfehlen !!! Allein weil es sich in meinen Augen von allen anderen Teilen absetzt. Die Story, die Map und die Begleiter sind einfach stark gemacht und es bietet viele wundervolle Stunden Spielspaß !!!!

au bout d'a peine 10h de jeu, je me suis lassée. jeu vraiment hyper répètitif et trop linéaire. c'est le premier far cry auquel je joue, je ne connaissais pas et le théme m'avait plutot emballé. niveau gameplay, il est plutot bien foutu (plusieurs armes dispo, changement rapides...) une fois qu'on a capté le systéme d'inventaire, il s'avère assez pratique. le graphisme est hyper réaliste (environnement, fluidité des mouvements...). hélas, ca n'a pas suffit à me donner envie de le finir. Même si j'ai galéré a le télècharger et qu'une fois installé, je ne pouvais pas jouer hors-ligne, que le support ubisoft m'a fait poireauter 1 semaine (à raison d'une réponse/24h...) pour rien car ils me sortaient des banalités affligeantes (genre "êtes vous sûre d'être connectée" sérieux les gars!? demandez moi aussi si mon pc est allumé tant qu'àf...); bref, si vous n'avez rien contre les missions secondaires (mais obligatoires) hyper redondantes (une fois une installation laborieuse), foncez sinon passez votre chemin.
