Anno 1800 Review
Anno 1800 is a city-building real-time strategy game set in the Industrial Revolution. Players take on the role of a colonial ruler, tasked with building and managing a thriving city.
The game features a complex and rewarding economy system, with players needing to balance production, trade, and taxation to keep their city afloat. Anno 1800 also features a variety of different environments, from the temperate Old World to the tropical New World, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities.

In terms of complexity, gameplay and visuals this is probably the best Anno game yet. The "classic" Anno gameplay with islands, ships, individual goods, dynamic NPCs, pirates and more are kept and enriched with lots of new content - especially for the late game.
The campaign is interesting and has lots of different things to do, but built into a sandbox game like in 2205. So the campaign is a little bit predictable just by looking at what you will unlock next.
Although i love all the new content and the NPCs, at times I feel overwhelmed with everything that I have to or can do and find myself not remembering what it was that i was actually planning on doing next. I know that this is Anno at its core, but sometimes I felt that it is a bit much. This will probably go away with more experience at the game.
This game looks super beautiful but is not very well hardware optimized. Especially when using any Non-Topdown perspective FPS drop like crazy. This might also just be a problem on 4K/Ultrawide Monitors.
The soundtrack is also really good and fits different events/locations.
