Max Payne, c’est un classique intemporel.

À l’époque, il a posé les bases de quelque chose de nouveau avec le bullet time, et encore aujourd’hui, ça reste incroyablement satisfaisant. Ralentir le temps, plonger, tirer… ça ne vieillit pas.

Mais au-delà du gameplay, c’est surtout l’ambiance qui marque. L’histoire est sombre, presque tragique, avec une narration qui donne vraiment une identité unique au jeu.

C’est brut, efficace, et ça va droit au but.

Un incontournable du jeu d’action, qui a laissé une vraie empreinte et qui reste encore aujourd’hui très agréable à découvrir.

Max Payne c'est une série mythique du jeu vidéo. Ce premier épisode pose les bases d'un gameplay nerveux, spectaculaire (ralentissement du temps à la matrix) et bien foutu.

On prend plaisir à dégommer à tout va les ennemis de Max.

L'histoire est touchante et on s'attache vites aux différents personnages.

En 2022, le jeu à un peu vieillit mais il en vaut, encore, largement la chandelle.
