Step into the world of Trinity Trigger, an all-new action role-playing game combining the look and feel of iconic RPGs of the ‘90s with a modern emphasis on fast-paced, customizable combat. As Cyan, a young man burdened by the gods with the mantle of Warrior of Chaos and an inevitable clash against the Warrior of Order, players will set out on a grand adventure to defy fate and save Trinitia. Cyan and his companions Elise and Zantis are accompanied by strange creatures known as Triggers that can transform into eight types of weapons, and players can switch freely between the three characters to implement a solo combat strategy, or team up with up to two friends for local co-op.

Une information importante qu’il faut savoir : Trinity Trigger est un jeu qui n’est pas disponible en français. Il y a cependant une version anglaise, à laquelle j’ai joué sur PS5. J’ai beaucoup apprécié le fait que le jeu ait été doublé, le voice acting est agréable et c’est vraiment cool de ne pas avoir à tout lire pour bien comprendre l’histoire ! Les voix sont, à mon avis, bien choisies.
J’en attendais beaucoup de ce jeu ! Malheureusement j’ai subi une petite douche froide en découvrant le jeu à la suite de nos premiers instants de découverte (je vous explique un peu plus tard). Une fois la première cinématique passée nous avons droit à un réveil du héros qui émerge d’un rêve (la cinématique). Le tutoriel se présente sous forme de pop-ups qui apparaissent à chaque nouvelle interaction disponible, il est envahissant, ce que je trouve moins agréable en termes d’immersion, mais, il reste fonctionnel et utile face à toutes les informations qu’il faut enregistrer.
