ot dinsdag 27 juni is 'Second Assault' voor Battlefield 4 gratis te verkrijgen via Origin, uiteraard alleen als je de basis-game al hebt. Deze DLC bevat voornamelijk content uit Battlefield 3, waaronder vier maps (Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Operation Firestorm en Gulf of Oman). Daarnaast is de duinbuggy terug van weggeweest en is 'Capture the Flag' weer beschikbaar als spelmodus. De community-missie tot 27 juni is 'Revives': als online spelers elkaar gezamenlijk in totaal 25 miljoen keer reanimeren, krijgt iedereen een Gold Battlepack.
