Not a fan of the 8bit graphic nor of the music really annoying. Not a fan of the Epilepsy fest either: this is the first time a game cause me migraine for the overwhealming amount of flashing lights totally unnecessary! Speaking of not necessary thing the fact that everytime I die I have to climb again from the beginning of the tower (sure there are elevator but the first times is a huge time wasting), the fact that I have to reach a bonfire everytime I need to switch character and the fact that the game overwrite my save that I made just before a boss fight (guess they really wanted to waste my time by making me climb again).

But if you can go past this horrible design choice you'll find a fine Metroidvania, the plot was interesting and the character where well made. Don't know if I will reach the end, right now I HAD to stop playing because it really hurt the back of my eyes.

EDIT: for the love of Gura PLEASE before playing go to the option and set the flashing light to Moderate!!!

I nemici fanno schifo e si incastrano nel nulla. Le mappe (8) sono poco interattive e non abbastanza grandi per offrire sufficente varieta', il sistema per la progressione e' lento costringendti a giocare match su match. Le persone online sono poche.

Un gioco del genere ha un pesante bisogno del workshop.

Performance orribile, controllo della telecamera inesistente se non in alcune specifiche sezioni quindi zero controllo sul posizionamento tuo rispetto a quello dei nemici non a schermo. Sempre parlando dei nemici sono dei bullet sponge che richiedono solo button smashing e parry perfetti per venire giu'. Il gioco mi ha annoiato dopo circa un ora.

Una lettera d'amore ai Metroidvania e a Castlevania nello specifico. Prende senza nasconderlo meccaniche da due dei piu' amati Castlevania e li mescola ad una grafica 2.5D per creare un esperienza nuova pur mantenedo il feeling di star giocando un classico. Non e' nuovo ma non puzza di vecchio, E' qualcosa di nuova ma giocandolo ti senti a casa come se fossi gia stato li.

Per 1 euro si trova di meglio in questo genere. Non riconosce il pad se non cablato, solo Story Mode e VS, l'Online si compra a parte con un DLC e il sowtware in se e' obsoleto ed ha problemi su macchine moderne.

Onestamente per quello che offre non mi sento di consigliarlo a questi prezzi.

Dal punto di vista del Single player c'è davvero poco: Vs AI, Sopravvivenza, Tutorial e allenamento. La modalità arcade è molto breve e contiene poco o nulla dal punto di vista narrativo. La Story Mode è semplicemente una lunga sequenza cinematografica senza scontri quindi niente gioco.

Lo prenderei solo se siete interessati all'online ma tenete conto che questi giochi tendono a morire. Tenete anche conto che ci sono personaggi aggiuntivi venduti separatamente.

Pixel Art curatissima che ricorda molto i vecchi giochi a scorrimento ma con colori molto brillanti che rendono tutta l'esperienza piacevole. luoghi disseminati di cose da notare e feel dei combattimenti molto ritmato,

Trama praticamente inesistente, l'unico scopo del gioco è sfogare la rabbia repressa del giocatore. Come sfogo è sufficiente, anche se la visuale dall'alto lo rende poco godibile, impreciso e macchinoso. Benchè scontato a 2$ vale il prezzo solo se aggiunta la mod che permette la visuale FPS e TPS (gratis su Steam tramite workshop).

Benchè sia povero di character sono ben caratterizzati, in oltre il comparto grafico è stupendo. Le modalità di gioco sono molto classiche (Storia, Arcade, Online, Allenamento, etc). Il sistema oltre ad essere user friendly dispone anche di un tutorial completo che copre oltre alle basi del gioco anche meccaniche più complesse

Ben 32 bellissimi personaggi giocabili e tante modalita oltre alla Story Mode, Arcade, Score Attack, Grim of Abyss,Speed Monster.Tanti contenuti extra da sbloccare e bellissime animazioni. Decisamente il migliore della serie.
