Quite simply the best Tom Clancy game out there. I've put many hours into this with friends and watched it grow into a proper game. The devs have worked hard to improve the engine, graphics etc. and add new content for free over the years and continue to do so. This is in my top 3 most played games.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition

Like others, I overlooked this game for ages. I was a fan of the Fallout/Skyrim series and was looking to delve back into an open world RPG experience. So glad I overlooked those and got this! The GOTY edition is well worth the coin, the game is huge with so much to do, you will literally have no life playing this if you get sucked into the rich narrative and numerous quests. Some 4 years since its release and the graphics are as good as anything released today. The devs clearly built it with future hardware in mind, it's a beautiful looking game which really adds to the immersion.

I do have a very minor gripe with it, the horse "Roach" AI is really dumb. Often not responding, walking into backgrounds when you whistle for him and generally being quite useless. There are also some minor bugs; slight graphical glitches and the game has crashed on several occasions (though I believe this to be nVidia driver related) and a couple of times I got stuck both launching and exiting the game (with Steam getting locked open whilst the game was "closed down") with the game being on the latest build. But that was over a large quantity of playing hours, so not too frequent all told. In conclusion, if you're looking for a massive open world RPG with bags of playability, this should be your only real go to.

I really love this game. From the superb, albeit short single player narrative, to the excellent multiplayer and horde modes, this game is a joy to play. The modified source engine is fluid, beautiful and well optimized and the devs supported it with free content up to very recently. The game is criminally underrated and many people have missed out on it due to it being overlooked at the time of release. However, the recent emergence of Apex Legends has boosted the online player count, so hopefully people can see what they missed out on, as it's a far better game in every respect. Get it now at this low price and keep the community alive! Highly recommended!
