Je l'attendais avec impatience, et je ne suis pas déçue. Dès ma première session de jeu, j'ai été enchantée par des graphismes modernes combinés à un gameplay d'inspiration rétro, avec un savant mélange d'exploration, de casse-têtes et d'allers-retours.

N'ayant pas joué à la version originale de Silent Hill 2, je ne peux pas faire de comparaison directe. Cependant, je peux affirmer que l'histoire, bien qu'énigmatique et parfois déroutante, m'a captivée jusqu'à son dénouement.

Visuellement, le travail est soigné, même si je pense qu'il aurait pu être encore plus abouti. Peut-être s'agit-il d'un choix artistique de l'équipe ? En revanche, le sound design est exceptionnel, et les doublages sont particulièrement réussis. Certaines émotions, notamment celles d'Angela, sont magnifiquement retranscrites à travers les voix des personnages.

L'aspect horrifique est bien rendu, avec des ennemis parfois très bien dissimulés qui vous feront sursauter. La caméra à la troisième personne, souvent en plan rapproché, limite parfois la vue dans certaines zones, accentuant ainsi l'ambiance angoissante du jeu.

J'ai joué en mode standard, que ce soit pour les combats ou les énigmes. Concernant ces dernières, je les ai trouvées trop simples, même en standard. Je vous recommande vivement de commencer directement en mode difficile, ou d'ajuster la difficulté au fil du jeu, puisque cette option est disponible. Côté combats, même en standard, ils peuvent devenir plus corsés dans des moments de stress ou de grande frayeur ! ^^'

Le seul bémol pour moi est le manque de stabilité du jeu. J'ai rencontré des baisses de FPS sans raison apparente lors du passage d'un environnement à un autre, ce qui était parfois frustrant.

En résumé, si tu as 50€ et 18 heures devant toi, fonce ! Tu ne seras pas déçu(e).
