Revolution tem um sistema de batalha inovador apresentando 3 novos modos de combater, o awakening mode,ultimate jutsu mode e drive mode. O primeiro já é bastante conhecido no universo de storm, sendo que o jogador transforma-se ou simplesmente recebe um powerup durante um curto espaço de tempo.Até ao storm 2 o awakening apenas poderia ser ativado quando a vida estava baixa, no entanto alterações nos titulos seguintes possibilitaram o uso deste com qualquer vida, gastando apenas chakra,caso fosse quick awakening.

O ultimate jutsu já é bastante conhecido na gama de Naruto por isso nao irei falar sobre o mesmo. O drive type é um novo conceito utilizando antigas mecanicas, neste modo é possivel "controlar" os suportes de modo a ajudar o jogador e selar o chakra do adversario. Quanto aos graficos, estes mantem-se semelhantes ao de storm 3. A nivel de historia, esta deixa muito a desejar, mostrando ser fracativa ao nivel de generations, sendo que no entanto é jogavel, devido às cutscenes de anime implementadas no jogo.

Concluindo, embora não seja comparavel a titulos como storm 3 não deixa de ser um titulo divertido e aptecivel.
