One of the best Story Games I played. I really enjoyed the whole story from beginning to end with interesting characters from start to end. Would love to have an alternative ending but still the game has such a great vibe you'll just get lost in it.

The PC version even comes with better textures and new extra features which make the game feel even more complete.

Defenitely must play if you enjoy story games/FF Games in general.

When I’m riding chocobos across the beach at dusk with my three friends and hunting iconic Final Fantasy monsters in a huge, picturesque open world, Final Fantasy XV feels like nearly everything I could want from a modern Final Fantasy. But when it funnels me into linear scenarios and drab, constricted spaces that plunge the simplistic combat into chaos, my blood boils a bit. There is so much good here, so much heart - especially in the relationships between Noctis and his sworn brothers. It just comes with some changes and compromises that were, at times, difficult for this long-time Final Fantasy fan to come to grips with.

Juste Sublime. Le jeu est bon, le Gameplay fait plaisir, digne d'un final fantasy. On retrouve la même liberté qu'avec le 12, avec un système de combat beaucoup plus intuitif, ce qui fait de ce jeu une énorme réussite a mon gout.

It's a good FF. I remember when I played the first FF in my life... it was the VIII. This one is one of the best FF ever made, but has also its limits.
First of all is the fragmentation of his story, potentially the best FF ruined by a cluster of ideas that they tried to merge together as best as they could; the result is a good product anyway, so compliments are needed to the all team: it wasn't so easy...
Second, and this is about pc version only, a not very well (at this time) optimization of high-end hardware: I was not really happy to have to download at least 80+ GB to play, nor to see that with a 1070 setting a resolution of 200% I can very well keep the 60 fps during the play and in the kinematics, but I suffer a visual jerky in the animated scenes. I hope this is a problem that can be solved with future updates, given that this is a major flaw.
Now we come to the merits.
I must say that for someone like me, fond of the old turn-based combat system, it's not always easy to be able to please me a very lively fight: this was one of the reasons that made me hate both FFXII and XIII and their awful battle system; FFXV fully succeeds in its task in my opinion, making the player entertain both through the projections and the invocations themselves, being frenetic, compelling and that stimulates the player to continually improve the concatenation of the attacks, to favor team play and maximize the damage : a good compromise between Devil May Cry and Persona.
A point really in favor of the game is the creation of spells: not only can we create different combinations through assimilated sources and various objects that will give special effects depending on the combination, but during the fight the most powerful spells can easily cause damage to the area , very different from previous FFs where the damage would have had effect only on the single target.
Another positive note is represented by the growth system, a bit limiting in personalizing your character, but still interesting considering the affinity between the level increase and the actual need to acquire skill points to improve your skills (resistance, offensive capacity, etc.). As far as I'm concerned, perfection in this field was achieved by FFX, where it was possible to customize each parameter through the spherography, but this task in FFXV is absolved by the equipment, so nothing to say.
Another positive note is given by the hunts, secondary ones already appreciated by the old FFXII and that are always welcome.
Finally it is a game that offers many hours of fun, breathtaking graphics, enchanting scenery and an exciting storyline, worthy of what Square has always flaunted in his masterpieces, not to mention the wonderful work done in characterization of the characters.
Definitely recommended, both to veteran FF fans and to those approaching for the first time. That's a pity, however, with a little more effort could be the best FF ever made.
  • Fantastic graphics...
  • Beautiful plot...
  • Interesting battle system
  • Longevity
  • A Final Fantasy like you have not to seen for a long time!
  • ...but (at this time) a not good optimization that allows it to run perfectly
  • ...but the fragmented nature of the project is felt, despite the efforts (almost fully successful) to homogenize the various parts of the project
Useful?
Definitely the magnum opus of the FFXV Universe. Compared to the console counterparts, especially XBOX ONE, this game looks lush and fluid and actually loads fast. It's understandable that people have the issues they have with the game, but the developers have been honest and upfront with improvements and I admire that. Maybe, FFXV isn't perfect, but if you are going to play this game this is the version to go with!
