About the Game
Mister Negative plans to achieve his aims by unleashing a deadly virus on the city – a chilling forecast of Covid-19, perhaps. Spider-Man must jump, run, swing and use his webs to navigate the Manhattan borough in the fictionalised NYC, aiming webs precisely to achieve your goals. When Spidey is in too much of a hurry to swing, you can use fast travel by hopping on the subway.
The physics engine is great, allowing you to jump, swing, run and generally navigate around with a realistic, if somewhat superhuman – jumping higher, landing lighter etc – environment to play through. Popular already, the new game is still a solid play now improved and with four levels of difficulty to try out: Friendly, Amazing, Spectacular and the latterly introduced Ultimate corresponding to easy, medium, hard and challenging, respectively.
There is also a new mode: ‘New Game Plus,’ mode which allows you to start the game from scratch, but with all the suits and gadgets already unlocked so you can play more freely using all the gadgets and gizmos that you shouldn’t really have access to in the early stages.
The Nitty Gritty
The game has a lovely open world feel, with Spider-Man able to freely explore the city. He can also accept side quests, interact with NPCs, complete missions and earn tokens, which are the in-game currency which allows you to buy goodies, and unlock new suits and useful gadgets (such as electric webbing, impact webbing which pushes enemies away and makes them stick to whatever they bump into, concussive blast).
As you play along and progress through the game’s story arc, there are also collectibles to snatch up and additional content to unlock. As might be expected from a Spider-Man game, combat mainly involves web-slinging, using the environment to your best advantage and chaining attacks together to befuddle enemies rather than take them down in face-to-face combat.

Got this game for birthday and completed in a few days. The game is really good. The story is good and its well written, even made me cry in the end.
The game play is great too, swinging around NYC is so fun and because swinging is forgiving so u can kinda just go where ever you want. Fight is also fun, its quite smooth even fighting multiple enemies. Its easy to switch between gadgets and enemies and can also be a bit difficult if u dont pay a little attention in fights.
My biggest complaint is: The game is too short. The story can be done quite fast
My Biggest compliment is: swinging around and exploring NYC and do side activities is great.
The game is completely worth it, especially if u can buy it a bit cheaper than full price.
Runs well and looks great on lesser graphics settings
Marvel`s Spider-Man is absolutely magnificent game . The characters are so well done and the Spider-man is so well done and full of charm and funny Spidey quips, just like in comics or movies. The story goes hard and it gets serious when it has to, and the ending is epic . The movement, swinging, crawling on the walls is all really well done and I have absolutely loved just exploring this rich world of Manhattan, with side stories being quite good too. It takes around 19 hours for the main story. There is plenty unlockables to, like costumes and gadgets. The only downside I can point out is the annoying and repetitive mini-puzzles, I think they are cheap and boring, but other than that no complaints.
Would I recommend Spider-Man in 2025 ? Absolutely ! This is how games should be done !
The code works and the price was lower than on other sites so it was a really good buy. The game I played before some time ago so I know that it's a superb game and so far along with Spider-Man 2, the best game about Spider-Man. The swinging is super smooth and enjoyable, the combat feels great and exploring the city is an amazing experience with all those beautiful surroundings.
very solid game and alot of fun. Somethimes it can be a little bit boring. But the combat the movement and the overall cosmetics are really cool. The free dlc are also very fun and interesting. The World is made very good with alot of cool things to visit, especially if you like new york. The side misions in the wolrd and the mini challenges, camps etc. are really cool and not too boring or repetitive. Overall good game. Only downside is the graphic. Its not always very fluent and enjoyable. My PC is not the problem. Got a 3070.
Good Game exploration based on assassin's creed style....while the game is a Marvel verion of Batman Arkan...it has much more difference......few stealth few gasget.....much more personalitation. ... result?
Good for exploration but Bad for strategy.....wanna do a Stealth action.....ops I neeed end this web and then change skill..... I don't like that aspect....story and feeeling of characters....10/10!
