THE MOST AWARDED GAME OF A GENERATION
NOW ENHANCED FOR THE NEXT

You are Geralt of Rivia, mercenary monster slayer. Before you stands a war-torn, monster-infested continent you can explore at will. Your current contract? Tracking down Ciri — the Child of Prophecy, a living weapon that can alter the shape of the world.

Updated to the latest version, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes with new features and items, including a built-in Photo Mode, swords, armor, and alternate outfits inspired by The Witcher Netflix series — and more!

Behold the dark fantasy world of the Continent like never before! This edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been enhanced with numerous visual and technical improvements, including vastly improved level of detail, a range of community created and newly developed mods for the game, real-time ray tracing, and more — all implemented with the power of modern PCs in mind.

Trained from early childhood and mutated to gain superhuman skills, strength, and reflexes, witchers are a counterbalance to the monster-infested world in which they live.
• Gruesomely destroy foes as a professional monster hunter armed with a range of upgradeable weapons, mutating potions, and combat magic.
• Hunt down a wide variety of exotic monsters, from savage beasts prowling mountain passes to cunning supernatural predators lurking in the shadowy back alleys of densely populated cities.
• Invest your rewards to upgrade your weaponry and buy custom armor, or spend them on horse races, card games, fist fighting, and other pleasures life brings.

Built for endless adventure, the massive open world of The Witcher sets new standards in terms of size, depth, and complexity.
• Traverse a fantastical open world: explore forgotten ruins, caves, and shipwrecks, trade with merchants and dwarven smiths in cities, and hunt across the open plains, mountains, and seas.
• Deal with treasonous generals, devious witches, and corrupt royalty to provide dark and dangerous services.
• Make choices that go beyond good & evil, and face their far-reaching consequences.

Take on the most important contract of your life: to track down the child of prophecy, the key to saving or destroying this world.
• In times of war, chase down the child of prophecy, a living weapon foretold by ancient elven legends.
• Struggle against ferocious rulers, spirits of the wilds, and even a threat from beyond the veil – all hell-bent on controlling this world.
• Define your destiny in a world that may not be worth saving.

A fantastic game that truly captures the essence of Andrzej Sapkowski's books. A must-play for all those who enjoy his work and those who love RPGs. Even after over 200 hours with The Witcher 3, it still tempts me to press on. There’s so much to explore that one could play it for years.

I was bored by The Witcher. It felt like a TV show, not a game. The gameplay was too casual, easy and repetitive. The story and characters were not my cup of tea. They seemed to target either fantasy fans or romance fans, but not me. I expected something different from this game, but I got a Netflix series with a blond guy with a big sword. No, thanks.

If you haven't played The Witcher 3, you're missing out big time! This game is amazing - the story is epic, the graphics are sick, and the gameplay is so much fun. And guess what? It's super cheap for all the entertainment you get. Don't miss out, go play it now!

Literally the worst game I have ever played...

I have never played a game with a main story that is sooo boring... The game can be resumed on this: go to point A looking for Ciri, Ciri is not there but there's a clue she is on point B, go to point B, ciri is not there but there's a clue she is on point C, go to point C... and all the alphabet... They literally will make you discover all the map looking for Ciri like that...

Also, the controls and movement of Geralt are the worst. I always play all the games on the max difficulty and this one was impossible. Not at all because the enemies were strong. It was because controlling Geralt is the worst.

I played 50% of the main story and I had to do a great effort, but I couldn't bear it more.

I cannot understand how this was nominated as game of the year...
  • Extremelly boring main story
  • Horrible characters controls and movement

Favorite game so far and the first i bought on this website got it only for 11€.

The story is good and even has some chocies.

Love the enemy / monster variety and all the ways you can take them down for example you can read in beastiry about a monster get to know its weaknesses for example a potion and use that aginst it. i also like how geralt goes Sherlock Holmes sometimes when he is tracking / investigating something.
  • Great story
  • side quests are intersting
  • a lot of enemy / monster variety

Very good Game, unique in its genre and the expansions are based on the decisions u make throughout the game itself. There are different choices possible while u play through the game for various people to play as they want.

Definetly worth playing. You can play it to relax a bit, seeing the atmosphere and doing side quest, because you have A LOT of side quest. Maye if you want to achive a 100% run (DLC included) you will need near 300h but in my opinion that is not bad at all.

One of the best Action RPG ever. Great and epic story with detailed characters and beautiful landscapes. The overall gameplay is also very good and the fights are always a joy. The game can be relative easy or extreme hard due the game difficulty settings. The only little problems I can remember was some quest that was quite hard to follow and close.

Just buy and play it, pure joy :D

Best game ever in my opinion. I'm on my 8th walkthrough and I can't get tired of it expecially after the Netflix series. I'd suggest everyone who loves this kind of game to give it a try and buy it to support the developers as well.

  • 2- Possibility of modding the game even if limited.
  • 3- Amazing open world experience
  • 4- Breathtaking story with some suspance moments
  • 5- Many accurate details, detailed consequences of your choices during quests/main storyline.
  • 1- There are some graphic bugs in the Vanilla version.

The Witcher 3 is without any doubt one of the best games I've ever played. The story, allegedly loyal to the original book series I haven't read, is what really amazed me. The main story line isgreat, but many side quests and optional missions are even better IMO. TW3 often presents you with really difficult moral dilemmas and backstories of strangers which will tug at your heartstrings as a player even though you barely brush over them, and Geralt remains impassible as usual. Some of your choices are not only difficult but also alter the story (there is a canon version, but you can make your own story). This might not be your game if what you seek is constant action, but if you want an organic storytelling, thrilling adventures, and rewarding exploration, hop on Roach and go find the thousands of monsters, treasures, peasants in need of help and bandits waiting out there.

I feel like the music also deserves to be praised as much as the graphics or maybe even more. It does not only fit the times you live in and mood of each moment (battles, riding, social events) but is a masterpiece per se. The graphics show an improvement compared to previous games, and there isn't really anything I can say against them. Mechanically, TW3 is at first challenging, but once you memorize the basics you'll find doging, attacking, casting signs and throwing bombs as easy as riding a bike. Despite of the massive amount of potions and concoctions you brew, and the bestiary you will need if you don't want to spend ten minutes with a strong creep, his could be the only game that makes learning actually fun.

Gameplay-wise, it took me a few hours to get used to all the control and basic stuff you need to memorize (same as most longgames) but once you do you can see it behaves like most MMORPGs in the way you are given quests which you follow in your map and will lead to other quests, except you're on your own here, a lone wolf. Most of the time you will play as Geralt, but sometimes you get to experience what Ciri went through escaping from the Wild Hunt. (I won't lie, I enjoyed being as overpowered as hell as Ciri too.) The major negative point of TW3 is that some quests will lock out others; of course, it wouldn't make sense to accept a quest from someone you just watched die, would it? That and a few bugs.

Overall, a must play. Totally recommended.
  • Amazing story
  • A vast map full of content
  • Wonderful OST
  • Very detailed and realistic worldbuilding
  • Your choices have consequences, and there is no black and white
  • Some quests lock other quests without warning
  • A few minor bugs
  • Rarely getting stuck in places (save often)

Witcher 3 is a game that lets you be whoever you choose. Your decisions actually have a huge impact on the story. Results of your very own choices are not for a few different dialogues. In fact your choices create a new atmosphere of relationships between many various characters.

The story is absolutely phenomenal and it is also where the game shines at most. Sure, the environment is good, but there is no chance it's perfect. Bugs are unfortunately unavoidable. With animation errors and bugs I don't see the world worth to be immediately fully explored. Repetitive undiscovered tasks are swarmed in almost every location imaginable, therefore it is not necessary to explore the world before taking quests. Take your quest first and explore the world for the undiscovered tasks then, that way you can actually have fun and complete your quests at the same time.

At first I didn't like it. To me it felt like every open world game that is doomed with its repetitive combat system and missions. However as soon as I start investing more hours into the game I got immediately hooked on by its adventurous story. I wanted to know what happens next, I wanted to know how my "relationship" with other characters evolves. Game does that well, hence why I couldn't stop playing the game for a whole week.

For the combat system to be fun you need to study your enemies. Investigate their weaknesses, then apply specific oils to your sword, use various bombs or simply abuse attack & dodge technique (but using that technique you will get nothing but a damage sponge match).

Try to overcome the game's first experience as I know it is not the strongest perk of the game. After some hours you will most likely be addicted to the game and will not make a single step out of your room.
  • Story, characters, enemies, soundtrack, etc.
  • A lot of missions
  • Main story playtime is about 70ish hours
  • Gwent
  • Open world maps

It's hard to find anything bad about this game. It's immersive, fun to play, and full of brilliant characters and rich lore. On top of this, the choices you make in dialogue can have massive impacts on what happens- e.g you can choose who rules the islands of skellige through a side quest! And that's not even mentioning the amazing soundtrack, gorgeous graphics and stellar cast.

10/10 best game I have ever played
  • amazing story, long but everything feels important
  • extremely immersive
  • detailed and rich world with great lore (from the books, which I'm reading now)
  • writing and voice acting is stellar, even in the most obscure side quests
  • good combat and progression system, lots of potential for different builds and a massive page of potions you can brew
  • if anything, i find it annoying that the game world is mostly unaffected at the end of the game, and the effects of many big choices you make aren't shown in the open world.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final chapter in the saga of Geralt of Rivia. It is an action-adventure, open world RPG by the renowned Polish studio CD Projekt Red. As you may have guessed by now, you play as a Witcher, a monster hunter capable of superhuman strength and reflexes having undergone mutations. Our protagonist Geralt is on a journey to find his adopted daughter Ciri, who has been missing for years. He must reach her before the Wild Hunt, a group of ethereal warriors trying to find her for her secret powers. Geralt is aided by a wide cast of friends and acquaintances including Yennefer and Triss, his lovers at points in life, Dandelion and Zoltan. The game has adult themes and requires a certain level of maturity to truly appreciate the intricately woven stories.

The game has many positives that it would be impossible to list them all but I shall try to shortlist the most remarkable ones. To start off, the game is set in a gorgeous world, that you are free to explore, that feels truly alive. From the icy mountains of Ard Skellige to the marshes of Velgen to the City of Novigrad, the different areas in the game have a distinct feel with their own culture and atmosphere. The devs have shown a lot of attention to the tiniest of details to make the world feel real. If you block a pedestrian’s way for too long; they get annoyed. It starts raining, and you see people run for some cover. You can even hear people sneezing and someone else shouting “bless you” at them. There are also tons of easter eggs for you to find in this massive world. You can find a prison akin to the one that contained Tyrion Lannister in the Game of Thrones series. Fan of Doctor Who? Well, you can find the Weeping Angels statues in the game, where they actually move each time you turn around! As for graphical fidelity, even 3 years after release, the game looks as good, if not better, than most AAA games that came out this year. Now that’s everything about the eye candies in the game.

What can you actually do in the world? Well, A LOT! There are several quests, both main story and side quest. The care taken to craft even smallest of the side quests can be felt. You may even end up confusing side quests with main quests due to their depth and how some of them tie up with the main story. Each quest will give you several ways to tackle them and can even have several endings. which may end up impacting the final ending as well. You can also take up witcher contracts from notice boards to slay different kinds of monsters plaguing the villagers. And if you ever feel tired from the adventures, you can just roam around the game world challenging bar owners and shopkeepers to a game of Gwent, a card game that is now a standalone game of its own. If you take your time and try to finish as many quests as possible, then you will easily have 100+ hours of content in front of you. Even if you choose to rush through the game, you will have 50+hours to enjoy here. The skill tree also allows for different playstyles, depending on which skills you decide to buy and equip. You can invest your points into combat, magic or alchemy, with each offering a slightly different playstyle. These skills can further be enhanced by various mutagens. In the Blood and Wine expansion, you can also develop mutations that grant you further customization options. All in all, the variety of quests and skills allow you to play through the game differently giving it a fair degree of replayability.

So what about the negatives? Well there aren’t many, and the few ones that I have are just nitpicks. The one that comes to mind is that the combat, along with movement, feels a bit clunky and lacking. You can tap the move key and Geralt will sort of lunge forward 3-5 step. This just feels heavy and not at all smooth, unlike the rest of the game. You can even get stuck because of smallest of bumps since you can’t jump during combat. This becomes a problem when fighting in closed space. Furthermore, In higher difficulties, there aren’t many combat paths that are viable; most notably, Alchemy-centric build isn’t a viable option in higher difficulties, preventing the combat from providing a true RPG experience.

Personally, I enjoyed my time with the game, but I had to keep telling myself not to look at it like a true RPG rather look at it more of an action adventure centred game. There are mods available to improve the combat, which was something that I really needed, and other quality of life changes for small nitpicks you might have.

To sum it up, this is an amazing game, just not an amazing RPG. Go into this game not looking at the RPG tag attached to it, and you will enjoy it extensively. This game is definitely worth buying, and it will offer you a lot of quality content. The only people I would advise to be cautious are the ones that are either looking for an RPG in the style of the Divinity games, or the Elder Scrolls games, or those that want an amazing combat experience. Although, if you have issues with the latter on PC, you can always get a few mods to improve the combat.

This game is a solid 10/10.
