This is a high-quality DLC. While it doesn't bring many new features, it's pretty much enjoyable.

New civs are quite a cool addition, accurate and balanced. The new aesthetic reminds me of the first AoE DE, but with a lot of improvement in details.

Still don't understand well the ships and docks changes; they seem to me the same thing as the standard game, but with confusing changes. Also, I can't understand the huge difference in size between regular and siege ships; they make a big "navy mess" when you put a lot of them together.

Price is too high, as always for 2DE DLCs.
  • Very interesting campaign
  • Beautiful aesthetic for buildings and units
  • New civs balanced and fun to play
  • Cutscenes orrible, long and boring
  • Some scenarios are too long and repetitive
  • Price too high (as usual for 2DE DLCs)
