Game Description:

The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft, the master of Horror. The half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You're a private investigator, and you have to uncover the truth of what has possessed the city… and the minds of its inhabitants.

Game Pillars:

  • An oppressive atmosphere and story inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft.

  • A vast open world that can be explored on foot, by boat, in a diving suit…

  • High replay value thanks to an open investigation system: each case can be solved in a number of ways, with different possible endings depending on your actions.

This game is NOT a legal game.
I played it for a month or two and suddenly at the first of march 2021 it didn,t work anymore,
Steam has removed the game and will not be playable
Frogwares claimed the game was stolen from them.,
Instant gaming will not refund the game!!!!

This game was bad...just bad...the crafting, the mechanics, the monsters, the super repetitive gameplay and re-used graphics everywhere! You first see the baddies underwater and it's cool...but then...you realize there is no danger and it's boring. You can scum save and do all 3 endings, each as disappointing as the last with NOTHING you do throughout the game having any impact whatsoever on the outcome/endings.

It looked creepy...the cut scenes were confusing, the glitches were horrendous and the streets were lifeless. (The NPCs are walking around next to policemen with bags of human parts...and apparently this is fine) The NPCs walk from one end of the map to the next aimlessly, they spawn outta nowhere!

It's aimed at the Lovecraftian fan club and I'm sure they will like just looking at it but as a gamer...it's poop. And at retail they try to charge £50 for it!! (not on this site)
