Overwatch for PC is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, who are also known for the highly popular World of Warcraft games and their spin-offs.

About the Game

Once players join up, they are put into two teams of six along with other players. Each player can choose from up to 30 characters (in the game, these are called heroes). The characters are excellent: individually rendered, complete with personality traits and physical quirks that are charming and individual. These quirks can include an attractive smile, a wayward lock of hair falling across their face at a certain point, and many other subtle but significant features.

Each is given a mission or series of missions which can include either defending or attacking strongholds and laboratories, or escorting cargo or payloads across the map, guarding valuables from attack.

Each successfully completed mission results in prizes for the successful team, and they are rewarded. Examples of prizes or rewards for completing missions are things like cosmetic skins and upgrades that make you look cool. Ability is not upgradable through these prizes, which are just for fun and add greatly to the individual vibe given off by each character.

Storyline

The game is set in a fictionalised world sixty years in the future. Overwatch was the United Nations of its time, set thirty years before the time of the game, but a series of in-fights and accusations resulted in an explosion at headquarters which killed many of the founding leaders. After this event, six years prior to the commencement of the game, Overwatch was disbanded and closed down, the members scattered to the four wind.

Overwatch was started up originally to save the world from an AI uprising when robots designed to serve mankind turned on them instead, when so-called God programs took control and took against their creators and masters.

Overwatch defeated the omnics, as the robots are called, and a fragile peace was maintained until the fighting kicked off, resulting in the above-mentioned explosion and the shutting down of the program. An offshoot of beings who believe that omnics have souls have an organisation – more of a cult – which enjoys a secretive but healthy following.

In the void left by Overwatch’s shut down, enemies begin to gather information and try to raid Overwatch strongholds for tech and data that can help them with their nefarious activities. They are thwarted by Winston, a gorilla scientist who refused to leave his lab when they were shut down.

He reconnects the Overwatch infrastructure and sends out a call to action to any surviving agents. This is the point when the game begins.

There are over 7,000 voice lines in the game. Given that the game has been translated into 12 languages, that means there is an incredible 84,000 voice lines altogether. That is a lot of voice acting and a lot of work: but it is well worth it as the gameplay is wonderful, with seamless interaction and believable conversational dialogue

Amazing game recomended to anyone who likes games like Team Fortress 2, Mobas, and First Person Shooters.

I'm 6 hours in and i loved every second of it, almost all heroes are fun to play except Bastion who i think can be very agressive on new players.

Overall a beautiful game where you can have lots of fun with your friends.

Overall a great game to play with friends and to waste time on, it totally can get annoying if your teammates are insta picking widowmaker or hanzo and do not communicate. At that point you may as well leave the game as the DPS are bad.

I have to say this game is very fun to play but the unbalance of the heroes and the dumb patches done to some of the underpowered heroes just destroy the game completely and makes it absolutely no fun to play and you just rage quit. I wouldn´t recommend this game for anyone who is trying to have a fun time playing a game.

After 200 hours in this game, I can still say that this game is awesome.

If u play with friends you can test new combs or you can troll and have fun.

If the game getting boring you can play every week a new mode at "Brawl".

The rank system is very good and you never get people who leaves or troll, everybody is friendly and communicate with you.

100/100

I recommend the game everyone who likes comic graphics and strategic ego shooter.

Overwatch is a tactical shooter. You can play it alone, but with a team it's much more fun, because the coordination and communication works much better. You can spend many hours here!

Training programs can be created through the workshop, so that you can also train individually for competitive matches.

I’ve spent over 1000 hours playing this game and I’m still going strong! If you’re looking for a multiplayer shooter like game Overwatch has gotten you covered! You don’t need to buy any additional content or dlc, it’s up to you if you want to invest but the game itself is really cool!

his game is the best! I’ve got close to 500 hrs on this game and I never get bored. There are so many options, if your looking to chill or play competitively or troll and have fun. I have both the Xbox and PC legendary editions and they were both worth every penny!

I like this game because i think its very good and fun in the competitive play because i am good at it and the heroes have cool voice lines like tracer she says don't be daft! The heroes have cool stories and videos like ashe vs mccree

It's an overall fun game. Mixed with interesting characters, some fine maps and fast paced gameplay. But it's sometimes, just a more emphasized remake of TF2. Some characters are just useless and boring to play as. And some characters, are just much more powerful than the others. Since this is a (supposite) remake of TF2, they are less balanced and a lot more mained than in TF2. The ''CS:GO'' type of gambling, is also a little bit of an issue.

Just loved it one of my favorite game so far. This game is really worth the try. It got a cool hero roaster the game is updated regulary. The overall games as a cool look .Some people would say that the community is bad but I totally disagree I met a lot of fun people.

Great game, great optimization, great time killer worth buying now even if it is the game from 2016. It gets fresh and new content so you cant get bored. Only negative thing is that matchmaking can be really unfair but with time you will improve and you will be in position to flex on others^^. Worth buying and gl! Bought both standard and legendary editions from Instant Gaming.

Awesome game, was playing Paladins, and got an idea that i should try Overwatch. So much better and creative. Instantly told my friends that they should buy it. I had trust issues with this game in past, because of reading some reviews and stuff, but when i tried it myself, found myself being wrong. The game is absolutely amazing.

Nice FPS game. Lot of characters available and nice maps. Graphics are pretty nice and you can have nice time works moments. Developpment is never over and there is lot of mods ! You can play for fun or in competitive games. Watch out to don't fall in love.

This game is awesome! I am playing this game about 20 hours and I've learned the basic things. Overwatch, has a lot of different game modes to play and a big variety of heroes to choose. Also you can get loot box very easy(by completing challenges or level up). You should buy especially on this price.

This site is very cheap and affordable with budget gamer's like me, tried buy the game 4 separate times and eventually got a message from IG did the requirements and they asked about my VPN which i accidentally left on and let them know I've been attacked online and authorities in my area had come to my how with guns loaded and all, they asked for IP address and i gave them so and then refunded my card with no reason added i was baffled as i apologized profusely threw out this whole experience as they were doing there job but I was not given and explanation why it was refunded even though i followed every order as they asked, I will try to purchase again but this whole experience has left a sour take in my mouth spending an hour trying get this resolved with customer service, please understand my frustration with this whole fiasco

I like this game because I have no lag , I like people with wich I play , they are friendly and good enough . Game is found easy , you don t need to wait too much but is little boring , champions are limited and some skins are so bad .

Usually not into shooters, but Overwatch is accessible, looks and plays smoothly. Fun game! Haven't bumped into any of the infamous toxic community members yet. The only gripe I have with the game so far is that I've been put into games with people 20+ ranks above me, which doesn't do a poor newbie like myself any good.

Easy to learn, hard to master

Matchmaking doesn't always put you with equally ranked players.
