Wisdom, Power, Courage

The Triforce is a magical object made up of three golden triangles that represent wisdom, power and courage. It’s said that the Triforce will grant the wish of those who lay hands on it, and as such, its very existence has been an endless source of conflict in Hyrule.

The boy without a fairy…

Guided by destiny, Link sets out on a heroic journey that spans the land of Hyrule and unfolds across two different eras. Experience this timeless tale and its vibrant characters brought to life through new dialogue and fully voiced cutscenes.

Welcome to Hyrule

At the heart of this majestic kingdom lies Hyrule Field, a central meadow that serves as a gateway to bustling towns, a foreboding volcano, a picturesque lake, a harsh desert and many other interesting places.

Cover long distances on foot using the new dash ability, and freely leap over gaps and obstacles with the push of a button. You can even befriend a trusty steed that you can ride later on in your quest.

Seek out wisdom

Explore every nook and cranny of the kingdom, and help those who call this realm home to earn rewards for your troubles. Time passes no matter where you are in this game, and new faces – and foes – may surface after the sun has set.

Test thy courage

Dungeons and sacred temples can be found throughout Hyrule, filled with perplexing puzzles, fearsome foes, and tantilising treasures to be found. Use your wits – and the items at your disposal – to overcome the environmental obstacles, tests of logic, and malevolent monsters that lurk deep within…

Wield powerful gear

Whether you’re battling beasts, solving puzzles or off exploring, you’ll need to be equipped to handle any situation! Conveniently swap between weapons and items on the fly, and aim slingshots, bows and other tools with precision using motion controls.

Certain items will only be available to Link in each era of his adventure.

Mysterious melodies

Throughout your quest, you’ll learn songs that can be played on Link’s ocarina. These mysterious melodies will play an important role in Link’s journey, and can be used to open up new paths forward, turn day to night, and more.

Play the right notes using button controls, or try humming the song into the built-in microphone of Nintendo Switch 2. You could even try playing these songs on a real ocarina!
