Shadow of the Tomb Raider for PC is the follow-on game to Rise of the Tomb Raider, once again featuring the aristocratic British orphan who has made it her life’s mission to follow in her father’s footsteps in order to learn more about him.
About the Game
Lara Croft has accidentally triggered an apocalyptic event by raiding a Mayan tomb. Now she must find the legendary city of Patiti in order to set things to rights. Her job is made harder by the paramilitary organisation, Trinity, who seem to have their own reasons for wanting to let events play out.
Along the way, Lara Croft explores the depths of wild South American forests and mountains, hunting beasts, finding hidden tombs, solving puzzles, and trading with and aiding villagers along the way.
She must also battle Trinity’s soldiers as she strives to reach Patiti before them, needing to work out how to stop the apocalypse that she has accidentally triggered.
New Details
The map of this game is immense, and the city of Patiti is a particular delight, being the largest hub in the game franchise so far. This gives players plenty to be getting on with, even as they work to fulfil the terms of the game’s overall story arc.
This version of the game, more than the older editions, place an enormous emphasis on puzzles and hidden tombs. These mini games and side quests are beautifully tailored to be interesting, challenging and – once solved – ultimately satisfying.
Another new addition to this iteration of Lara Croft’s world is a barter system in which items needed for crafting and upgrading supplies can be swapped for items which Lara has in excess.
Lara’s movements have also been dramatically overhauled, with a greater range of motions now available. Subtle movements are also possible, allowing for slow stealthy movements when necessary.
Lara’s swimming ability has also been vastly improved – she can use air pockets when swimming under water to keep going for longer, and the 360° underwater world becomes a delight when you can explore a little while you dive.
And exploring is something that you want to do: the scenery is beautifully depicted and the game allows you the time to appreciate your surroundings every now and then. The glorious sunsets, breath-taking views, and spectral tombs are all well worth taking a moment to enjoy, before getting back into the game.
The newly incorporated stealth mode offers features that allow you to pick off enemy guards one by one, using a poisoned arrow rather than having a noisy gun battle – although you can still do that if you want to!
There is a playable flashback sequence, showing us what young Lara’s home life was like, before everything went wrong.
Ways to Play
Lara Croft is a loner at heart, and throughout much of the game she is solo, battling the elements, the environment and enemies by herself, using her weapons and ingenuity to get by. However, there are three styles of gameplay for you to choose between:
Puzzle solving
This is self-explanatory, but it bears repeating that the puzzles and hidden tombs are beautifully designed: challenging enough to keep you interested, but not so hard that you become disheartened and stop playing.
Environment Navigation
Explore the open map ranging as reveal a bigger area than any of the other games in the franchise, with animals to hunt, enemies to sneak up on and beautiful scenery to admire.
Combat
Vent some stress by taking out as many Trinity henchmen as you can in as short a time as possible!
If at any point in the game you feel that you want a bit more excitement in your life, you can up the difficulty so that you have more difficult missions, trickier opponents and more challenging beasts to hunt.
Endgame
As mentioned above, the endgame is a simple premise: prevent the world from ending by finding the artefact that reveals how to stop the events that Lara Croft set into action.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

love the game, music and graphics are top notch. i would make sure you have something semi-strong in a jpu, at least in the 4000 series nvidia or 6000 series amd. other than that. great game
Lara is back to her roots. The focus on adventure instead of endless fighting is fantastic and the gameplay has been evolved for the better again. On top of that, Tomb Raider never did look so good...
This game is so good,im just doing this to complete the mission for the level, even tho if i know that the level its just a numbre and its kinda worthless i still dont give a shi cause i like to see myself high and on high numbers.

I bought it on the release day, in fact, I think I pre-ordered the base game, and It wasn't good enough to compensate the 60 Euro price tag, but the Definitive Edition for 15 Euros, I can only recommend it!
Insanely good game, i'm glad i bought it here now. I played it before on my friends account but i finally have my own copy and i will definitely play it again. Tomb Raider last 3 parts are definitely worth playing.
The story is very fascinating and also gripping.I can say it´s fun and thats all i want from a game.a game that is definitely worth every penny.Thrilling experience, great graphics, nice story. With DLC you can be any Lara Croft.
All positive about the game.
+ Extra game
+ good physics
+Good story
+Interesting DLC
+Interesting clothes
With DLC you can be any Lara Croft, whether it's from the first part, or the second part, or any other part
First 30 minutes is just watching skippable scenes and some not skippable since you must hold forward key and just fallow some monotone story line.
Story in itself is slow and boring
80 min in game I stopped and uninstall
You have a tutorial phase for the first 50 min and then the game somewhat start ( some climbing)
But if you die you must restart the tutorial part because the game does not save.
So after a mechanic I had not learned yet cought me off guard and I dropped I had to replay 10 min of game mechanics and story
Then I died a second time after playing for 30 minutes, I died because I jumped on something that looked like I could climb but I could not and dropped.
The manual save with not save and just put you back at checkmark.
Mechanics are not impressibe and game qualityu is not very beautiful, some parts are well made because of graphic possibilities ( if you have hardware that enhance graphics) beside that the game will look kind of ugly
most of the time you will loose control of your mouse because the camera auto adjust to some event. It also does it very randomely
you can deactivate horizontal camera correction but not all the tiem and NOT Vertically...
Great game with an also great world and story.
The story is very fascinating and also gripping.
You can explore the world and find really cool stuff with which you can level youre abilities.
The only thing which dissapointent me was the lack of mods for this game and furthermore the difficulty to be able to play with them.
All in all great game :)
Nice story
you can explore a lot of things
you can addept the difficutly to youre play style
its difficult to play the game with mods (not impossible)
Very interesting game , for all those who love Lara Croft, great graphics , very good story , i hope they will make another Lara Croft game in the near future, only negative is that is a bit easier than previous two games , only the last mission is a bit harder
Great game, reminds me the old Tomb Raider games I used to play with my friend on PS one and two. The puzzles and gameplay are like the classic Tomb Raider games, but the game is modern in terms of playability.
Very good movie graphic on this game ! and have mini visual bugs on only vewing parts
price is good and i am recomand to buy this game because have ray tracing and test you graphics card for ray tracing shadows !
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a pretty good game with a very interesting and good story. Its the end of the trilogy and it puts a good end.In this game the parkour stand up from everything else introducing new elements like grapple hook and much more and you never get bored of climbing. All the weapons, except from the bow,are super unrealistic and they feel very fake when you use them though. Also, the skill tree was not very usefull and to be honest very unecessary.Last but not least,i played the game at the difficulty "one with the jungle" and it was pretty easy, they could notch it up a little bit
Outstanding game. The graphics are amazing, the story line is very good, the puzzles are difficult, controls are on point, optimization is crisp, what more can a human being ask? I recommend this game to everyone.
Super Geiles Story Game.
Comparing previous part of Tomb Raider, i like this more. Looks awesome on XOne.
If you was played Rise of The Tomb Raider, you will like this one also. Beautiful landscapes and NO winter =D
+1 good game to my personal collection.
This is a TOP GAME. I am saying this and I am not a fan of Lara Croft movies. But this game is super well done.
I have countless hours of gameplay and I am still amazed with all story and graphics. Recommend fully.
It has a decent story that takes place in the tropical lands so you can finally have that exotic exploring vibe. This is also probably the closest the PC gaming will ever get to Uncharted. However unlike Uncharted this game has more customization to combat like different types of grenades, weapons and also you can add mud to your body and look like a human predator.
Sadly this is the last game of Tomb Raider survivor franchise.
Great game overall, it looks amazing, i play on high visuals not on ultra, but still to gorgeous (no I mean the game, not the protagonist)
Story is okay, keeps you engaged mostly, its just not as good and captivating as say Uncharted. Reasonable amount of optimisation, keep in mind it is a GPU/CPU/RAM hungry game, you need some serious specs to run this game at the absolute highest with 60 fps.
Gorgeous Visuals
Okay story
Good optimisation (requires high spec PC)
Great Game play
Jonah is the King!
Quite Demanding
Not uncharted level of storytelling
Lara still has that annoying voice (scream scream)
I've played every single game in the Tomb Raider series and Rise of the Tomb Raider is still my favorite. Although Shadow has better graphics and a much cooler story, I found the gameplay to be pretty limited.
Awesome graphics.
Didn't find the new skill tree all that appealing.
I am a Fan since I was a little Kid (first Playstation Game was TR 2) so I have no choice but buy this Game too. The 2 Games before were also great so i am very excited to play in a few seconds. But I can say that the trailer looked good, the screenshots did also!
