About the Game
Three warriors with demonic abilities, Dante, his companion Nero, and a new protagonist V, make their way through battalions of demons to stop the Demon King, Urizen, in his efforts to destroy the human world. Each of the three characters has a unique fighting style and must work to improve their skills and strength in order to best ever-more difficult opponents.
The main premise of the game is to move from battle scene to battle scene, even while continuing to move forward through a compelling narrative to keep the player’s interest focused on their mission. The cut scenes are excellent, raising genuine emotion, and keeping you invested in completing the quest and stopping Urizen.
What’s the Story?
Urizen, the Demon King, is using an evil tree, known as Qliphoth, to send its roots throughout the world, to drain cities of their lifeforce. V, Nero and Dante must work together to stop his nefarious plans while hordes of demon assailants try to stop you.
You can play as any of the three characters, and some portions of the story arc require that you adopt one persona over another for a certain chapter, so you will get a good feel for how each character moves and battles as you work your way towards the Demon King and his evil scheming.
Special Powers
Each of the three characters has a number of unique skills and powers. Let us have a quick look at these.
Dante: the ‘primary’ protagonist, whose battle began after the forces of evil (demons) killed his mother and corrupted his brother. His father was Sparda, a powerful demon, which gives Dante a number of advantages when it comes to battling. Dante has a sword named for his father, and another called Rebellion. The latter is his signature blade
Dante (new): In this game, Dante has a new weapon, Devil Arms which combine into a lethal motorcycle called Cavaliere. Some of his weapons sound ridiculous, but they are effective: a pair of boots and gauntlets combo called Balrog that offer fiery death to demons, and a red hat called Dr Faustus the use of which can be high-risk for unwary players. The rewards, however, if the moves work, make it well worth mastering!
Nero: Nero carries two distinctive weapons from previous games: his Red Queen sword that aids him with lethal melee attacks, and his double-barrelled Blue Rose revolver for more distance fighting
Nero (new): In this game, Nero is deprived of his old demonic arm weaponry, but this is replaced with ‘devil breakers’ robotic prosthetics that give him a host of advantages and special moves, including grabbing enemies from a distance or stopping time for a while
V (all new): V is new to this game, so all his weapons and powers are likewise new. V carries a book and a cane, but battles using three demon spirits: a lightning eagle called Griffon, a panther named Shadow that can sprout blades, spikes and portals from its body, and golem called Nightmare. Nightmare uses laser beams during vicious melee attacks to win V’s battles – or to slow down the opposition enough that V can step in and finish them off with his cane

vergil is cool. cooler than anyone. I love vergil. Game's combat system is amazing and the best I have experienced so far. I wish tho that you can have a lil bit more control over how you fight when you play V.
Just as my purchase of DMC4 Special Edition, I had not encountered any problems with receiving my Steam key and activating it smoothly.
The flow of the story and how the POVS tied together did not disappoint. Although god I wish we were able to obtain more context about V and the prologue bits they haven't introduced in game and instead introduced only in the manga volumes... I wish there would had been a DLC we could had bought for the manga perspective to be to a level playable in game too even if it would had been slightly less chaotic battle wise.
I am thrilled with my purchase using the services provided by the site and I happily recommend to people that are on a budget and missed the official promotional sales on steam for the games to keep up with the sales over here for keys and (re)experience the games, no matter if you interacted with the series beforehand or saw the online ramble with the Netflix Anime. Since the anime isn't canon to the universe of the games, please hop in and enjoy the games at your own pace with the story told as it was originally intended <3
The flexibilty of the combat n its fluidity has to be one of the most fun in the series personally
Many say that V's gameplay was a bore or too easy, despite this I enjoyed dearly his story chapters & gameplay
The ability to play as Vergil was an absolute banger of a choice made
A bit of a let down, although understandable in terms of the story, that we couldn't have more Trish&Lady screen time
Would had been nice if in the special edition they would had let you (in any of the game modes) play as Trish&Lady
Game might be having some optimisation problems depending on your specs, even if they arent old persay build wise...
First dmc game I’ve ever played. The story isn’t to bad to pickup on but you will realize it’s a lot before this one lol. But overall good game, fun combat, story line is pretty good considering.
It's packed with action, drama, comedy and you get to experience it all and not just by watching but by participating. A great game definitely worth playing.
PS. You don't have to play the previous games to know what's going on.
This Game has an Amazing Combat System and the Soundtrack is just Legendary and so rememberable. This Game also looks Incredible. Can only recommend this Game to people, there is also ALOT of Characters to Simp over.

Non motivated people who spam only 1 move and think they are good
amazing game and the best DMC game so far in y opinion, but the first t run is a bit easy. The final boss fights are amazing, the music is badass and fits in so well with the gameplay. A lot better to use a controller than keyboard and mouse.

Lots of mighty swords and guns, which you can use to create smooth acrobatic combos to eliminate enemies. The return of the original hero “Dante” to defeat brutal demons, with two halves of a haunted motorbike. On another hand, Nero is fully equipped with one of seven mechanical arms that can hit foes with a robust electric fist, or release rocket fists that target the demons from a distance. With all of these prominent features, it seems I playing the original Devil May Cry title, but in modern era.

Challenging Gameplay Like Never Before
The storyline is inspired by the previous title, in which three warriors are struggling to fend off an antagonist, the Demon King Urizen, and his minion from smashing the world where we lived. The story in itself offering a challenging mission and embarking you to rescue the world before it’s too late. Three characters come with unique abilities, so it is possible to use each one to complete a set of objectives to avoid difficulty level. As you reach your targeted location, the mystery behind V is starting to reveal along with the connection with the antagonist.
Noobs are also welcome
Though it’s the sixth main entry and first in over a decade, DMC 5 is welcoming to noobs. However, you start the game as Nero, demon hunter with silver hair who equipped with a massive sword, a prosthetic arm, and a pistol. According to a storyline, plant-like vicious creatures have invaded the environment to take over the city, attempting to sinking its roots into the roads and buildings as well, with an unholy plan of turning the city into hell. The unholy plan involves a massive array of monsters ranging from massive bugs to floating masks that armed with scissors.
Fast-paced Frantic Combat
Seriously, the gameplay is incredible and seems like you’re having experience of previous titles but with latest technologies. Lots of modifications were made to offer extraordinary gameplay, and the introduction of new protagonist “V” will surely impress you. Not even a single demon could stand along your way and will be defeated with one of three warriors of your choice. I appreciate the newly featured content, and Devil May Cry V has successfully won millions of players’ hearts. Mostly blockbuster games fuse the elements of various genres and playstyles as well in attempt to appeal to as massive crowed of gamers as possible. But Devil May Cry V doesn’t do that. Instead, it zeroes in on what the game does specifically well, such as Fluid, Fast, and Frantic Combat that never disappoint you even a plenty hours into the gaming experience.
The game is really really fun and enjoyable. After you beat the game there is even more content you can do plus you can work on your stylish rankings in your next playthrough with all the combos available from your last run
Well, DMC we were waiting for. Dante is good as always, V is new interesting alternative and it's good variation about standard gameplay and Nero is far better than in DMC4. DMC5 has spirit od DMC3, took everything good from DMC4 and gives many new ideas on it's own. Just perfect.
