"Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends" introduces entirely new levels of fun to the refreshing gameplay vanquishing swarms of enemies with mighty warriors found in "Dynasty Warriors 8." In story mode, where you can immerse yourself in the vivid tales of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is now possible to play as the mighty warrior "Lu Bu," and embark on a journey that depicts his way of life. Additionally, many new hypothetical scenarios to existing Romance of the Three Kingdoms battles have been added, as well as new playable characters, weapons types, growth/speedrun elements, and more! What's more, a revamped Ambition Mode and completely new Challenge Mode offer whole new ways to enjoy the "Dynasty Warriors 8" universe.

before posting anything about how bad controller support is for steam games

why not first learn to read what partial controller support is.

Steam controller support for most games is a 50/50 but not always

This game is still great to play on PC

DW 8 XL offers a better graphic visual over DW 7

I am not going to throw spoilers around.

This game was back then when it was released for the NES (For those who remember)

It went under another name though but it still had a few of the key characters

Koei though is known these days for false marketing certain products just as much as capcom is and SE

This game is great on a console like a playstation but for pc? It is a disaster. it does not work good. Do not buy this game. The game is great, but to play on pc is a disaster. Does not work good with a controller. And i wanna play this with a controller.
