As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien.

Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter Amanda she would return home for her 11th birthday. Amanda never saw her again.

Fifteen years later, Amanda, now a Weyland-Yutani employee, hears that the flight recorder of her mother’s ship, the Nostromo, has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol. The temptation for her to finally understand what happened is too much to resist. When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong. It all seems to be connected to an unknown menace, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.

In order to uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.

Amazing game. Phenomenal atmosphere and music. Could have come out today and you would not know, graphics and gameplay are perfect, one of the best horror games of all time. Definitely the scariest I have ever played!

  • The graphics are insane for their time but there is some aliasing sometimes.
  • The cutscenes are very rough and choppy, really clash with the actual gameplay. Pre-rendered so stuck on like 30 fps

one of those games that from the start makes you fear something that yet you dont know what is coming or where is coming from, definetly a true scary game
  • runs smooth even on a low end pc
  • stands for what it is. A scary game without jumpscares
  • very clear storytelling doesent get confusing
  • only negative id say would be that when the alien is hunting you sometimes it feels like a bug it wont let you get out

It's a good game BUT the game has a bug that prevents you from progressing. The story itself is very good, I must say it's hard to find your way around the game, and you always have to use YouTube for help, or you're just stuck, but all in all it was cool while it lasted

Excellent game, definitely one of the best horror games of all time. The ambiance of this game is insanely good and I LOVE the level-design and the overall aesthetics of the game. The androids are annoying af though.

I know this game came out a decade ago and people probably aren't going to read this, but this is the scariest game I've ever played bar none. The visuals still hold up today and the sound design is just pure glory. The first time you die in this game it feels as though you actually just died in real life, and I'm here for it. The sounds of the alien and the station are done so well, and the way they make some of the station sounds very similar to the Alien's sound effects is pure evil and it's made for some great scares. If u wanna be scared, play this game with the lights off, totally alone, at night, and with a good set of headphones.

Alien Isolation is best horor game ever. The atmopshere is fantastic. Story is very interesting. I like game because game is in universe. The game have a lot of detalis in sevastapol station . Alien looks better than ever

I loved the game back when it was released for ps4. I remember playing with a friend at night and switch every time we died or it changed section. The atmosphere of the game really makes the game shine. Just bought it for PC with DLC to give it a go in 1440p resolution.
I recommend this game to everyone that likes the thrill.
