Fun immersive game with fps mechanics that feel fluid, good story and dialog. the world is pretty for being post nuke area. Good main character and I like the ability to choose what type of moral way you play.

I have yet to try it but i got my key with 0 problems whatsoever, its currently downloading as i am writing this. I remember reading Dmitry Alekseyevich Glukhovsky novels, refering to "Metro 2033" novel he published, never got to finish it but now years later as an adult i will do it after trying the game that is adapted after it

After further testing and close to 5 hours of nonstop playing i can say wholeheartly that this game is a hidden gem, not for everybody, especially the "faint-hearted". Its brutal, dark, scary, yet those very elements arent the biggest onces that the player feels. Its the feeling of the indomitable human spirit in a nature where everything seeks your death. This game is not for everyone and i would go as far and say that it is a niche game

  • Can't make volume louder or lower ingame, have to go out of the game through pausing and then lowering it outside that
  • Game dosent show you exactly what to do and that can make the player weireded out with no help

I do not like this style of game at all. Too much story and too linear. Way too much dialogue thick accent dark scnes slow moving. Ive been playing for hours and can barely see where I am going. I just want to be free and explore at atleast have siome action. I dont want to be locked into a slow moving story like this. Its just not fun. I regret the purpose. For refference, my favorite types of games are Resident series which are somewhat similar but much more fun. I also like skyrim and fallout new vegas. I really like doom eternal and the series. I like VR half life alex and resident evil 4 VR is the bst VR game in my opinion. I tried some other metro games in the past but I just fdont like how depressing the story is and how slow it is. I have a strong computer with AMD 5700XT and 32G of Ram. I can play most any game at max settings but I cant run the enhanced version of this so I had to play the basic.

Me specifically? I loved watching people play the game when it came out, yeah it had a few bugs and stuff back in the day but I think now it is a very, very solid game. I am going to enjoy playing it after so many years.

One of the best singleplayer experiences I've ever had.

It's not just the best Metro game, but one of the best games I've ever played. There are some technical issues with the game, like weird penetration of elements, glitches of the dead bodies, enemies too sensitive or not sensitive at all to Artyom's movements...

Overall an amazing game, I have nothing to say against the story, narrative or characters. Perfection when we talk about the story. I expected at least a scarn motion capture work, but there isn't, faces of the characters are so flat; there are games released in 2013 with better (and more realistic) face expressions.

I expect to see a better work in the next game, whenever it's going to be ready, I can wait all the time necessary to build a perfect game. The ray-tracing is overall good enough and the game is well optimized. Voice cast is perfect, dialogs perfect, brilliant story and characters building and loved the moral mechanic.

Eventually I got the good ending, but it was so hard to get it. Hope to see more games bringing up this mechanic.

I hope development team works harder on:

- motion capture/better face animations;

- better interaction between characters and the terrain.

Great pros of the game:

- crafting system, since it's not too complicated or too simple;

- gunfights, really awesome the fact that dirty weapons could stop working properly;

- great enemies' AI, sometimes it lacks of the right sensitivity, but overall is good;

- awesome graphics, but I wished more iconic shots. Novosibirsk's location was the only outstanding and breathtaking terrain, the rest of the game was "just" good enough;

- it's a REAL open-world, you feel the world alive, even at the end of the world after a nuclear war;

- voice cast and character building is perfect. You'll be attached to every single character of the story.

I'd recommend the game to everyone, especially Metro fans, since this is the best game and best chapter of the story.

  • Lack of motion capture or good face animations
  • Weird glitches related to compenetration of polygons in terrain
  • Lack of "wallpaper-like" maps. The game is still beautiful and the world building works perfectly fine

Good game fr, very large map, mass enemies, incredible point of view, perfect Russian, so many way to engage the fight, sneak, front, use tricks, variety if enemy and they can even stop the fight and white flags

I played the first 2 games and enjoyed them a lot, when exodus was released i bought it as soon as i found a discount. Sadly it was on epic games and not steam. As i use steam mostly and now got some money to purchase it for steam it was time

Metro Exodus is an excellent game, I played the whole game with enjoyment, quite a good story with survival and elements of collecting various equipment for weapons! The graphics are good, the physics of movement is good, the shooting is good. I recommend the game! Rating 8.5/10! Recommended for Instant Gaming!

I wasnt sure about buying the game but im not disappointed. BUY this game i dont see why wouldnt you buy it. Amazing story i shed tears when it ended but im happy i bought the game. I loved the characters. But it comes at a cost of some bugs not so bad bugs and definetly not gamebreaking. Sorry for some mistakes english isnt my firs language.
