Mordhau for PC is the equivalent of an oldie-timey first person shooter, being instead a first person slash and stabber game! The custom combat system is rooted in some historical techniques and players must dedicate hours to mastering their weapons: pretty much as young men would have had to do daily in the times before modern weaponry.
About the Game
The player can customise quite a lot of their character’s appearance and weapons, with such changes being a mixture of cosmetic and practical. There are three types of armour, with heavier, more durable armour offering obvious advantages, but also working against the player, slowing you down and making your movements more cumbersome.
Your character – a mercenary – can be customised quite specifically as to looks so you can spend some time on this, making him look just right for the part. Even his voice can be changed along with his body type and face, so you can get just the right appearance. This customisation costs nothing, but tweaking weapons, armour and other perks will need you to use the in-game currency, so you might need to do a little grinding to get things perfect.
You can learn all about medieval weapons, such as shields, swords, spears, hammers, bows and arrows, and even immense siege weapons that would flatten the average home today! You can occasionally use a horse in your battles, just as knights of old would have done,
Combat is achieved through careful and precise movements to parry opponents blows, feint to trick them into exposing a vulnerable part, and to attack them, breaking through their guard and drawing blood. Keep an eye on your health and stamina metres as you go, and on your opponent’s too, so you know when to strike a death blow in dramatic style.
Game Modes
There are a number of different ways to play, namely:
Frontline: this is quite a tactical way to play. Two teams are formed and each team begins with a thousand points. For each enemy killed the opposing team loses a point: for each soldier you lose, you lose a point. You can earn points by winning battles, claiming territory and completing objectives – completing all the objectives triggers an instant win, while winning territory simply depletes enemy points. You will also win if they run out of points
Battle Royale: in this, by now familiar, mode, play starts with sixty-four players in one arena. Everyone is naked and afraid: armourless and weaponless, needing to find a chest as fast as possible and gear up. Then it is a death match, with the play area reducing as the numbers decline. The last man standing is the overall winner
Horde: stand firm with your teammates against wave after wave of AI enemies. Your health bar will not regenerate during each round, so be sure not to be too careless with your life, but winning the round will restore you to fitness as well as giving you currency with which you can buy armour and weaponry. As above, you begin with no weapons or armour to hand and must battle with your wits until you can suit up
Skirmish: this a form of team play in which each player is sort of out for themselves too! If you die in the game, you will only respawn at the end of the round, continuing to play if your teammates bested the opposition. Win seven rounds and your team wins the whole skirmish
Deathmatch: deathmatches are almost like jousts, where you challenge one player at a time to battle one-on-one. Once you have beaten them, you move onto the next: so no waves of enemies, and no overwhelming battles, just duel after duel after duel: an excellent way to find out just how good your medieval weaponry skills are. The first player to get to the requisite number of kills is the winner
Team Deathmatch: just like the above, except players are divided into one of two teams and the whole team works to outdo the opposition’s number of kills
Mordhau for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

One of the best games i played in 2022. When you are a new player, you are going to die a lot, trust me. But give this game some time to improve your combat skills and it is going to become way more fun to you. It has a LOT of different weapons, character customizations, maps etc. Community is good. My favourite part of the game (since i got bored with fighting after about 500 hours) is that you can actually play any music you want on the instruments using LuteBot program. Character`s voices and animations are hillarious, they are definitely going to make you laugh at some points. There are also some hidden places at some maps. 10/10 for me.

Epic game, spent way too much time on it. Hard to learn at the beginning, but FUN AF after a few hours. recommend to anyone to try this game (much better than chivalry 2 imo: best fight mechanics, more skills required)

Mordhau is a first or third person medieval sword fighting game. If you can't handle getting beaten for hours on end until you get good, don't get this game. A more casual option would be Chiv 2.
B
Satisfying combat with a high skill curve.
Mods are extremely easy to use
Small playerbase generally dominated by players with 1k+ hours.
Very limited developer support.

The game by itself is amazing. Graphics are outstanding, it has great combat mechanics, one can select from a variety of weapons and armor and customize it as one sees fit. However the downside is community. Of course this doen't impact my ranking of the game, but I think it is good to know what kind of community plays a game beforehand. While Mordhau focuses on realistic and historically accurate gameplay that is fun when you hear about it the first time, community is mainly consisted of "trolls" that enjoy dressing as peasants with frying pans and sometimes even using game exploits to "troll" normal people or new players who are playing the game as it was intended. As already mentioned the game by itself is amazing, but unfortunately new players will probably lose interest in it quick due to reasons above.

Realistic weapons and armor as well as semi-realistic gameplay.
Community ("trolls" with no life messing with fun play).

A few bugs, but that's a very amazing game! Worth getting it! Really nice playing with friends. I like the combat system, and it's enough severe: you miss...you die. The personalization is good, and you can use several classes.
Funny with friends
So realistic
Well structured
Few bugs
Aggressive comunity (it happens)

very good game, hard to learn but very fun,
alot of the players in this game are very good and it will take some time to learn how to block and make the good combat combos. and time every thing right.

Repeptitive gameplay. Good graphic detail with all medieval wheapon well reproduced but after this all battle is caotic with no time to reason or strategy. if you want a frenetic medieval time game buy this, but for me is not good

A very FUN game, it has servers everywhere, server lag is a rare thing in matches, i think the best way to have fun are roleplay servers, and the best way to improve are duel community servers, this game got very big at the beginning, and being able to customize your character as you want is really cool, this is an arcade game, by that i mean leveling up gives you some reward are cloth colors, cooler pieces of armor and so, in a couple words i'd define this game fun and skill based, think about having this game in your steam library, it deserves to be there.
