Homeworld reaches to heaven and raises strategy games into the space and beyond. The first moment you undock your Mothership from space station you know that this will not just a simple journey in between of the galaxies. This will be THE journey of your lifetime. Help Hiigara to become a one and save your race against evil forces who wants to erase you from the history.

Hyper space, second core, battlecruiser, fleet command..these are just few from many you will be familiar throughout your story. This might sound to scary for new comers but trust me when you learn whole thing you will feel like your’re the captain of armada fleet that nothing can stop you.

The game feel and space exploration never felt that beautiful like in this game. It truly shows you no matter how big of an army fleet you have you will still feel like you’re just a little dot in a massive space field. Map expands in many sides all around you 360 in every way. Feels remarkable how you can zoom in and zoom out and roll over every direction and see closes or farthest details of your ships and or space battles. When you build up your first fighters you think oh that’s it….but then comes along destroyers, heavy cruisers, marine frigates and those are not the last ones. When Dreadnoughts or Battlecruisers shows up in your field then you will realise g o d d a m n this will be epic battle. Cause let be honest here we all gathered here for big big massive ships with super beams and destruction. They are slow and massive but hit like truck. Honestly every ship is very crucial to your successful win. Every one of them can play major role in battles. Its up for you how you will handle those situations cause there are lot of amazing missions and they are very different and amazing on their own way. There are no single boring mission in this game. Many battles can feel like they are major ones. There is no single battle that doesnt count or feels like its small deal. The game is easy to learn but hard to master it. This will be no cake walk for sure.

But whats is Homeworld trilogy without a Cataclysm game in it right. Im surprised this pack don’t include best game from the trilogy and tha is for sure Cataclysm. You can get it right now on GOG. Im pretty sure I will speak for majority of the fans saying that this game is prob the best from them all. The story, the command ship that now you can lead into battles to and its not only as stationary unit and all horror flavor in it and you have a masterpiece. You basically become a hero from little known trade-exploring ship vessel. Space strategy in this one is done to the masterpiece level. Tons of ships to discover and build, a lot of unknown factor may be scary for you in the beginning but when you learn the patterns you soon start to feel like you are the captain of this ship. Voice acting is also superb.

If you love strategy games and you never played space strategy game like this one you should grab it asap. From back then when the trilogy was released to this day no one could repeat the same quality as Homeworld games did and they are still the best.

I loved the orignials, so bought the game, tried to activate the game - Error messages.
I asked the support, they helped, but to no avail. Got a refund
I cannot rate the game but i can say the Support try their hardes to help.

Who knows, maybe Steam was haywired, because of the current Health crisis worldwide and many people stay at home
