This game is absolutely perfect, the closest thing to a fromsoft title. Heading in, the lore is easy to follow with things you(the player) can find. The boss quality is top notch and give quite the challenge. So many weapons to upgrade, craft, and you can make them your own. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in the souls series or those who seek more like it!

my surprise game of 2023, didn't expect that kind of quality

first playthrough can be rough, but if you utilize the mechanics like legion arm, fable arts etc you will beat any boss in this game

This game is awesome the graphics are just Elite. There is not 2 much story but its enough. And boss fight cuts are so good its amazing i would recommend!

A very good game for friends of soulsborne games. Engaging combat, lots of parrying, properly challenging. Also beautiful, eerie, sad, and emotional. It could've been a little harder and a lot longer, but that's just my preference.

And storytelling worked far better than the From Software "only environmental" crap. Some elitists say From tells stories well, but they don't. They're just fucking lazy and have charmed their fanboys into believing not really telling a story is better than actually telling it. (I still love their games and have played them for thousands of hours because of the good boss fights.)

But anyway, this game is really worth its price. I fully recommend it.

one of the greatest soulslikes out there and definitely on par with the fromsoft games

while not as hard for me as it was for many others, it was definitely some of the most fun I ever had playing such a game and the quality of life improvements the game brought in compared to the fromsoft games, it is definitely a 9.9/10

only thing feeling a little off is how heavy every movement feels in this game but it doesn't really fault the game experience. just one minor complaint

This game has it's uniqueness while keeping the (Souls like playstyle) It can be hard but it's worth to even play the game itself if you wanna try something completely Good

I do think it's worth even just to try.

Clearly this is a Triple AAA game that year and i wouldn't say anything else about it :)

Bada$$ Pinocchio, wielding dope weapons, roaming around a dark steampunk city infested with malfunctioning dolls, and horrific creatures, deformed by disease, parrying and slashing his way out of puppethood.

Story rich, immersive ambiance, satisfying combat.

What is not to like!

PS. If you are new to Souls-like games, it might take a while to get used to the fighting format, but it is well worth the wait.

The best solus-like, not very small, not very big, exactly what needed.

The way the story was told was excellent, much better than in the original Souls games. The mechanics are also just right—there's nothing unnecessary, and you literally use everything. The difficulty is way overrated; I found the game much easier than Elden Ring.

The disadvantage is that it is very linear. It you got stuck on a boss, you don’t have any other directions where to find - you need to beat it
