Abzû est un mélange de poésie et d'onirisme qui ne laissera pas indemne votre esprit. De sa musique à sa direction artistique en passant par sa technique,tout est fait pour vous faire vivre une expérience inoubliable. Des centaines de poissons s'affichent à l'écran, et donnent à la faune et à la flore une incroyable sensation de vie au monde que l'on explore. Du jamais vu, d'autant que la thématique sous-marine est très peu exploitée dans le jeu vidéo. Il s'agit là sans conteste d'un véritable chef-d'oeuvre, une expérience inoubliable et atypique qui vous fera voyager dans l'un des plus grands mystères de notre planète : les fonds marins. Son seul défaut est finalement d'être trop court, (3 heures maximum) et de ne pas proposer un mode multijoueur basé sur la rencontre comme ce fut le cas dans Journey. On en redemande et quand l'aventure touche à sa fin, on ne souhaite qu'une chose, replonger dans l'océan pour en découvrir tous ses secrets. D'autant que le titre est loin d'être stupide, le studio Giant Squid nous oblige à interpréter ce que l'on a sous les yeux et nous force de manière presque naturelle à rapprocher cet univers fictif à notre propre réalité. À l'image d'un documentaire il nous fait prendre conscience de la diversité de vie qu'offre notre planète, et il nous permet de comprendre l'importance de la protéger. Dans Abzû on a vraiment l'impression de vivre un rêve, du genre de ceux où l'on regrette de se réveiller.
