Playing Resident Evil: Requiem felt like reconnecting with an old friend who’s grown and changed, but still knows how to scare the hell out of you. It’s a game that respects its roots while daring to try new things, and while it doesn’t always nail the landing, its ambition and heart are undeniable. Grace Ashcroft is a revelation—a protagonist who feels real, flawed, and ultimately heroic. Leon S. Kennedy, older and wiser, is as cool as ever, and the interplay between the two is a joy to experience.

Requiem isn’t just a greatest-hits package or a nostalgia trip. It’s a bold, sometimes messy, but always compelling evolution of the franchise. Whether you’re a diehard fan or a newcomer, there’s something here for you—terror, action, mystery, and, yes, even hope. In a series defined by death and despair, that’s a rare and precious thing.
