I was quite disappointed. From looking at the trailer, I made bad judgement and thought this would be some interesting gameplay, where I could roam a city, meet people and listen to their points of view, maybe untangle some secrets...

Well, what I got was one neverending monologue and basically the same picture again and again. Gets boring really fast.

Great game, from many points of view. Played over 1000 hours and still things to do, try, explore. Some people say it has therapeutical effect on them. For others, just calming, and humbling... Especially for the money ($10) it is very good. And - as long as you bought also the story mode -, the creators are still adding new things. There should be Episode 5 later this year... so we'll know what happens to the two main heroes: Astrid and Will. I am lookning forward for that as well.

If the game starts and immedistely stops again (cannot start), do following: re-install VisualC++ Redistributables (all versions) and then go to Teardown.exe -> properties -> compatibility, enable compatibility for Windows 8, and also check 'Run as administrator'. Then restart computer and - game will start working.

"When Banished meets Frostpunk in Fallout's wasteland". Beautiful, melancholic survival strategy in various scenarios. It pays off to play the tutorial first.
