Un souls like metroidvania platform 2d, insomma un gioco con un bel pò di carne al fuoco ma che riesce ad unire bene tutti questi elementi. La mancanza di una mappa rende particolarmente ostico ricordarsi dove andare o cosa fare visto che c'è anche molto backtracking. Un sistema di livelli con abilità che ricorda quello di final fantasy x, difficoltà non eccessiva ma con delle parti che fanno venire voglia di disinstallarlo e non toccarlo mai più. Il gioco è molto divertente, ha un buon livello di sfida e bilanciamento, ambientazioni e design dei personaggi molto originali e raccapriccianti, una mappa piena zeppa di scorciatoie e vie segrete ma, visto che il gioco è 2d, senza una mappa è molto difficile riuscire a ricordarsi tutto e si è costretti più volte a ripercorrere intere zone per controllare tutte le vie sperando di beccare quella giusta. Avrei voluto rigiocarlo in ng+ ma appena ho scoperto che i nemici più scarsi morivano solo dopo 3 colpi con l'arma più potente del gioco e che loro invece mi toglievano un terzo di vita a colpo ci ho rinunciato
