■ Story

The lifestream represents the very cycle of life and death, where all life emerges from the planet and returns to its embrace. However, the Shinra Electric Power Company ruthlessly drains the planet of its very essence, the lifestream, and processes it for industry as "mako."

After overcoming countless fierce battles in the mako-powered metropolis of Midgar, ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his companions step out into the wider world. Riding across grassy plains atop chocobos, they embark on an uncertain path, beginning their fated journey across the planet.

At the same time, SOLDIER First Class Zack Fair walks through the wastelands outside of Midgar. Wounded and weary, he drags his battered body forward while supporting his dear friend Cloud, who is delirious from mako poisoning. Beyond the veil of death, an ominous rift tears the heavens above.

Meanwhile, the Wutai interim government leads the Shinra Resistance Committee in a declaration of war.

In a grim procession, mysterious black-robed figures carry the remains of Jenova, the alien entity infamously known as the cataclysm from the stars and the catalyst of our plight.

Sensing the threat to the Planet itself, the fearsome guardians known as Weapons, awaken and rise from the lifestream.

Through the machinations of Cloud’s sworn enemy Sephiroth, the strands of destiny intertwine and are reborn again.

You know who I'm talking about.

I'm not saying who, because I don't want to spoil it, but don't waste your money on this modern Disney-level bullshit.
  • The graphics are good.
  • The combat felt OK, but there wasn't much improvement from the previous title.
  • If you wait long enough, you might be able to get this for the low, low price of one unit of your currency.
  • The story is terrible and the writing is at a childish level.
  • The minigames are so annoying! (for example: the piano and the Box throw)
  • The open world is a nightmare to navigate cleanly, especially in the canyon mountain area.

The FF7 remakes just aren’t for me. Not that they’re bad games by any means, clearly they have a huge fan base that loves them, I’m just not one of them.

The continuation of the FF7 remake ("trilogy?").

Once again it's padded beyond recognition. It takes every bit of the original game that would had given you 3-5 minutes of world map travel and turns it into an 15 hour open world sandbox. Aditionaly every area that would had you travel through 1-6 screens is now a full blown stage full of dialogue, extra story and endless padding.

The combat, music and graphics are currently among the best in the industry.

Runs wonderfully on my PC. PC is the best way to play it if your PC can run it. Beautiful graphics, great story, excellent retelling of Final Fantasy VII's remainder of Disc 1. The combat is the best in the series and the voice work is great. The music is some of the best to come out of the company in decades as well, while reusing fantastic tracks from part 1. If you like Final Fantasy VII you'll love this.

Can't play it with my 1080 ti like first game.

First game have it played just a days ago with all trophies and runs very well with my setup, playing in 2k resolution.

The minimum requirements says Minimum directX 12 not 12.2

Have been played lot of DirectX 12 games without problem.
