Description

Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition puts you in charge of a growing city – from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of citizens. Design, build, and manage the city of your dreams, from public services to civic policies, and challenge yourself to grow from a simple town to a bustling metropolitan hub.
Cities: Skylines is an award-winning, best-selling management game, now available for the Xbox One with all of its robust city-simulation gameplay and unique charm along for the ride. The Xbox One Edition includes the base game and the popular After Dark expansion, allowing players to plan and design for their cities’ nightlife and tourist attractions.

Main Features:
Build the city of your dreams: Plan road networks, bus lines and parks. Bring on a smog-filled industrial revolution or create a quiet beach town ideal for tourists powered by renewable energy. Bring education, healthcare and safety to your citizens. Build it your way!

Multi-tiered and challenging simulation: Playing as the mayor of your city, you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, firefighting, healthcare and much more, along with your city’s economy. Citizens within your city react fluidly, keeping you on your toes with ever-evolving demands.

Extensive local traffic simulation: Managing traffic and the needs of your citizens to work and play will require the use of several interactive transport systems – use careful road planning alongside buses, trains, subways, and much more.

Districts and policies: Be more than just another city hall official! Create a car-free downtown area, assign free public transport to your waterfront, or ban pets in suburbia. Designate parts of your city as a district in order to set policy at the local level, and give different parts of town their own personalities.

After Dark included: Watch your city become an entirely different place at night: a day-night cycle will have your citizens seeking out places to unwind after work. Add in new policies and zones to create popular hotspots and provide enough taxis and trains to get to and from the clubs!

Paradox Account required for certain features of the game. You have to be 16 years or older to create a Paradox Account. See https://legal.paradoxplaza.com/eula for details.

Cities: Skylines is an excellent city management game that combines depth, creative freedom, and realism. The game offers a very detailed building system, allowing you to design every aspect of the city, from infrastructure to services, including traffic and resource management. One of its strengths is the great freedom given to the player: you can build an efficient metropolis or experiment with creative solutions, learning from mistakes along the way. The simulation is well-balanced and gives the feeling of truly controlling a living city, with citizens reacting to your choices. Visually, the game is clear and pleasant, and support for mods and updates makes it long-lasting and always interesting. Overall, Cities: Skylines is a recommended title both for those who love complex management games and for those who want to relax by building the city of their dreams.

  • Great creative freedom in building and managing the city.
  • Realistic simulation with citizens reacting to your choices.
  • Steep learning curve for beginners.
  • Some traffic or management situations can become complex to balance without mods or advanced strategies.

  • Deep city planning mechanics
  • City growth levels feel unnecessary
  • Public transports can act weird

The game's attention to detail and realism make it a must-play for fans of the genre.

  • Steep learning curve for newcomers
  • Limited variety in building aesthetics

Great game, worth the money. Maybe i will buy some dlcs in the future, but for now i want to acomodate with the base game. I understand that this is a better version of Sim City and it is very popular nowadays.

I hope he will live it up to the standard.

It's a chill, fun and good-looking game, could get boring after a few play throughs, but that depends on how creative you are and the detail you put into your cities. DLCs make the game more interesting and add more variety.

I haven't played it, but I only heard good things about this game. Buy it while it's on sale! It cures OCD for 100s of hours while playing the game. It's like sims for a city. Follow their TikTok account!!!!

Yes. There's a lot of DLC but the game is still really good. Even with the insane price of all the DLCs to this...it's still worth getting to play this game. Ignore the DLC and enjoy the game. It's at least worth a little of your time, if you're here to look into it.
  • Fun Game-play
  • Easy to Learn
  • Hours of Fun
  • DLC

You saved me 30€, I was about to pay for the game on Xbox, but then a friend had the brilliant idea to look on instant gaming and found it 30€ cheaper than what it was at on the Microsoft store, this is just great, absolutely freaking great.

I really love this game. I play it for a while now and at first it was a little confusing to learn but after about 20 minutes I knew the controls and was ready to start my own civilization. Great Fun. It has many extension DLC's and thus has much content to explore. That could be seen as a pro and a con because DLC's cost. They are expensive. Could only recommend buying the DLC's here. Cost way to much on steam... Anyways. Great game. Can only recommend

9/10 definitely worth it!
  • Great Graphic and FPS
  • Great addon support (steam workshop)
  • Many DLC's
  • Wierd controll at first
  • Expensive DLC's

Although this game has been up for quite some years by now, it's not showing its age as much as I expected, and thanks to the phenomenal modding-community, you can do anything in this game! You don't even have to play the whole "management"-part of the game to have a great experience, if you just want to focus on creating something beautiful. If you're not into modding though, the game will probably not seem as pretty, and you'll have a hard time doing some specific stuff within the game.

Overall, this game is awesome, and it's definitely worth the price!
