The game is in EA but already shows a lot of promise. It gives me the same feeling I got when playing the old Bioware games.

I don't understand why critics were harsh on this one.

Graphics are decent, though not the best. Story is interesting even if a little vanilla.

The combat system is good. Not only do you have choice but every team you put together is viable even if you push difficulty over the game's regular maximum. The talent system is fun to play around with and I really enjoyed crafting my own gear in this one. (Note that you can craft your own gear by visiting blacksmiths but they won't make you the very best gear).

Overall I really enjoyed this game, with the exception of one specific character which I hope the devs add a choice for after the tutorial. I would have liked to chose which one I kept at that point.

Loved the first game, and am playing with the early access of GF2. It is not only a recognizable sequel, but a promising one (- hello, Dragon Age). First major update has lots of improvements, and already polished the combat.
