In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.

The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.

Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During a war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

This War of Mine: Complete Edition consists of:

  • This War of Mine – a full version of the base game
  • Anniversary Edtion update – set of new characters to interact with, locations to explore and new possible ending, created especially for the second anniversary of the game
  • The Little Ones DLC – exploring the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective – that of a child.
  • This War of Mine Stories: Season Pass - the full set of three new stories set in the world of This War of Mine. Those story-driven DLCs present a different perspective on war, offering a brand-new, unique experience for both This War of Mine old-timers as well as the new players.

The stories are:
Episode 1: The Father's Promise - a heartbreaking tale of loss and hope in a war-torn city

Episode 2: The Last Broadcast – whereas a radio-operator you are going to face moral dilemmas and decide, whether there is a price too high for the truth

Episode 3: Fading Embers portrays a story of Anja living in a warzone and carrying a heavy burden as she has to answer to herself what is more important - survival of human legacy or the survival of a man.

TWOM is a game about managing your resources and trying to survive without loosing your team members. Amazing game if you wish to play something more challenging. Yes, TWOM might seem really hard and it is, but with time you learn more and more. Really recommend.

Great game with great storyline and great graphics, unique approach to how the game is played, creative levels, map and basically everything else. There is no tutorial, but you learn every aspect of the game in just few minutes of play

This war of mine es un juego completamente inmersivo, que te mete en la piel de gente corriente que esta sufriendo las consecuencias de una guerra civil. Lo que más cabe destacar de este juego, es que llegas a vivirlo de tal manera, que realmente crees que estas allí y empatizas de forma directa con las personas que están pasando por esa situación, haciendo de este juego una experiencia única.

Παιδιά δεν έχω λόγια! Πραγματικά το παιχνίδι είναι τέλειο! Αυτό το survival και το scavenge για να επιβιώσεις σε καιρό πολέμου αντί να πολεμας, είναι κάτι το διαφορετικο
. . Πραγματικά δεν έχω λόγια... Το μόνο αρνητικό κατά την γνώμη μου είναι ότι το παιχνίδι τελειώνει πολύ γρήγορα

Very well thought game. I like the way it plays, bit like The Sims. Sometimes find it gets very repetitive but that's the type of game it is, go out and scavenge to keep you and your team alive. Kind of get attached to the characters to, keeping them alive then you go out one night and one of your team get shot and killed and your sat there like 'Holy Sh!t'... Game also auto saves after the end of the day so cant reload a previous save before your little dude died, that's it for them, game over!

A challenging and meaningful game. This game can be difficult to get the hang of, but is rich in atmosphere and mood and it has tons of replay value. I highly recommend this, it's one of my favorite survival game!

I really enjoy this survival game. It's quite hard and takes some time to fully understand.
But extremley easy to get hooked into.
Im used to save progress alot and load if i screw up badly, but you can't in this game, and that's a good thing. ;)
