Somehow I completely missed this game when it came out and found out about it only recently due DD2 announcement. And oh boy, this was an experience!

Don`t get me wrong, this game isn`t without flaws. UI is completely outdated in all worse kind of ways, I had to install mods in order to make borderless full screen to work and actually having keybinds for map, journal and etc. Not going to say anything about graphics since it`s 2013 game, I mean, obviously graphics are old.
Story was rather naive and felt rushed, yet ending made my head spin with more questions then answers, can`t imagine what you would feel like if you skipped dialogues and sidequests. But what really shines in this game even above recent games is combat, damn it really good and entertaining to a point, that I found myself attacking enemies not because I had to, but because I wanted to.

Soo, should you get it? Well, new games comes out in few months, so thats question is on you, since looking on videos will be an improvement to everything in this game, but if you see a discount and want to get a feel for it, then it`s no brainer. One of best 6-7/10 games out there. Looking forward for DD2!

Decent game, a Skyrim type of game, open world to explore and things to discorer, however the character costumization is absent, apart from some skill moves, the pawns thing didn't excited me too much to be honest, fighting with their helps is maybe too much easy, not too many side characaters to interact with, subbing and acting is atrocious, and the system to interact with your backpack is like 20 years behind 2013 :l

Even though the story is interesting and the foe are well done and diversified.

Excellent game. Lot of different enemies, quests and interesting dialogs in game. Graphics could be a little better and that part when you fall in to water is quite strange but never mind. If you want interesting game buy Dragons Dogma.

Excellent game, fun to play, really liked companion and class selection system. Combat was enjoyable.
Negative side, seemed liked creators did not have lot of experience making rpg so some inconvience was present.
Still overall very goog.

This game wanna be Skyrim,Dark Souls,Monster Hunter,DMC but in the end she faild in all places thet other game Rocks rly shame coz this game rly dont look bad,bit in the end if u wanna game with bad story idiotic fight bad AI its for u xD

  • Fight is rly bad in this game and some ppl will say git good but to git good u need to grind for wappon and u dont have doge roll so git good when u cant doge
  • potions and heling have no logic u heal from ur Inv.No animation just click and eat like 100 apples to heal, no logic in fight
  • -armor dont scale like in normal games like this 50 AR and u recive 50% dmg DDDA works like this u have 50 armor and u block 50 dmg,now if u have sword whom do 100 dmg and bandit have 99 AR u do 1 dmg rly nice
  • No lock on,its rly bad if u wanna focus someone coz u cant see them in fight
  • Story and end of game have no logic its like EN translation from JP its done in google translate

Il miglior gioco a cui abbia mai giocato in stile Action-RPG. Vastità del mondo da esplorare e tutto Open, numerosi equipaggiamenti da poter utilizzare, scelta delle classi non vincolante e movesets vasti

One of the best games I have ever played. The combat style was really fun as it allowed you to actually climb onto the enemies instead of hack and slash. Immersive story line. Plenty of side quests. Plenty of hours worth of gaming.

Loved it. Graphics aren't the best as it's an older game ported from PS2, but the game play is light years ahead of it's time. Large open world, lots of quests and a decent story will keep you hooked. Being able to use your friend "pawns" to assist you in the game is genius.

J'ai acheté Dragon's Dogma sur 360, ma copine l'a sur PS3, et on l'a racheté sur PC en version Dark Arisen, si c'est pas une preuve suffisante que le jeu nous a plu, je sais pas ce qu'il faut ! Il prend le meilleur de beaucoup de jeu et ajoute des trouvailles niveaux gameplays qui surprennent positivement.

  • Les affrontements avec les gros gros monstres sont ÉNORMES
  • "I'll set its wing ABLAZE"
  • Les possibilités de customisations des perso etc... sont très variées

Best fighting system ever. The IQ in this game is excellent. You can spend too many hours in this game. I enjoy it a lot. One play through is not enough anyway so it is a good choice if you search a game to buy

A very good mix of clever designed levels, like Resident Evil and other console games, and open world game while adding a few new features. You can follow the story line or crawl through dungeon to find better gear. Is up to you.

25+ hours on the game so far, I enjoy it more than dark souls, the gameplay is less rigid.
I recomend you to mod this game (some graphic enhancement are enjoyable)
Long story short if you like a great universe and a nice challenge just buy it !

I loved this game on console and this is the superior way to play, HD and 60fps plus the odd mod really does add to a quality game.

For this price you cannot go wrong (masterworks all!) Main plus points for this game are combat and the pawn system. Both will keep you coming back!
