This game is really good, even in 2024.

Really fun with friends, or without. Players can join you anyway and it's still a really played game.

Maybe the best game you can find in 5$ to play when you are bored or want to play something different with your friends.

You have 5 classes. More than enough. Each one of them with different weapons, perks, gameplay, skins etc.

If you like to get all the achievements, in this game you'll be likely to spend about 100+ hours because you have to make every class character with level 30. I played 45 hours but it felt like 5. I really recommend this game, you won't get bored to soon. You slice rats and monster with swords or axes. Or you can burn them or shoot with ranged weapons.

This is a perfect game for people who love Left 4 Dead franchise. The game has many achievements and challenges to complete so it has replayability. You have 5 characters to choose from each with their own abilities and perks. This game is also very fun with friends but if you don't want to play with anyone you can play solo with bots or online with other people. There are 4 acts to complete each with their own boos at the end. If you like hack and slash and like defeting massive hordes of monsters then this is the right game for you.

This game is a lot of fun. I really like it, take the overall gameplay loop of Left 4 Dead, add character classes and skills and make it in the Warhammer Universe. Biggest complaint is how overly monetized it is. There are paid character classes for $4, and there are cosmetic packs FOR those paid for characters FOR $9 without a sale\bundle! Cosmetics are per character, and can be up to $5 for some hats, and outfit packs that are $7. This is a game that is normally $30 it's too much..

The game might be 'old', but it is still a pleasure!
There is also still a great and active community. The harder you go in the levels, the more satisfying it is to get your reward.
Conclusion: just buy it!

Very good co - op game to play with your friends . Nothing is as relaxing as talking with friends while beheading rats and rots . Definitely challenging, and the community is mostly one of the nicest I've seen.

An amazingly good game! I really love it. Team fun is amazing. The visual world of a hero and enemy clearly presents the war's illuminator. I see on Steam that many people like to cuddle for a reason. Don't worry about them, I can recommend the game to everyone.

1000 hours in, its pretty good.

Difficult for new players, learn to block and dodge early in recruit difficulty and dont start off with ironbreaker, it will teach you bad habbits.

The best alternative to l4d available today.

Vermintide 2: Electric Boogaloo is a decent FPS indie game with solid core mechanics, but don't be fooled, as the game's still in Early Access and needs a lot of work to outdo its predecessor.

I recommend you buy this game below the current asking price, preferably when a miracle patch hits the live servers. Unfortunately, FatShark Games has a proven track record of doing things too little, too late, promising development road maps, only to implement changes very late into the game's life cycle.

PRO TIPS:

- Avoid opening any "Commendation Chests" (level up reward) you might earn, until you reach Power level 600 (max level, with max level items), so that you can INCREASE your chances of earning higher quality loot/future cosmetics in the 1.1 update

- If you're currently out of friends or co-op partners, I STRONGLY ADVISE using a Discord server such as Squirrel Squad or Blood Moon Inn to find players to play with

- Sadly, the game currently has a "meta" where certain class/weapon combinations are better than most, you can try what you like, but for those interested, right now (1.0.8.1 patch LIVE), most classes are useful with the exception of Sienna's Battle Wizard that suffers from badly designed class mechanics.

- Performance may vary. The game has exceptional issues and a very intrusive Anti-Cheat system that will use up PC resources during play time. Understand that the DX12 version isn't optimized properly yet, so if you don't have a modern PC, use DX11 for best performance (NOT graphical). You can switch Shadows and other optionals (such as High Quality Fur) OFF, since you won't gain that much of a visual benefit, as much as you'll get a nasty performance dip.

REMEMBER: The game is VERY CPU intensive. If you have a weak CPU, I suggest going into the Launcher > Settings and changing the Worker Threads to 3 or 4 just to be safe. Also, if you want EASY games and have a BAD CPU, just host a game and you'll have an easier time since ALL ENEMIES use real time scripts that take up a lot of CPU power for the purposes of calculating pathing, behavior etc.

Fantastic Game, combines edge of your seat intensity and constant action with a streamlined design thats perfect for playing with a group of friends.
All in all, Vermintide 2 is an awesome coop game with some little flaws. Highly recommended. Would rate 8.5/10.

Awesome ! I didn´t play it yet but I belive coop with GMyers will be fine. I mean.. shooting his head will be fine. U know, when is somebody black and poor he have no option so.. :3 Yea.. and grafic looks fine too.

It basically takes everything that made 1 great and makes it even greater. A large variety of enemies, separate branches per character and stunningly beautiful (and large) levels.. Amazing experience!

A great game, different from the first, but still a similar formula. Really good graphics and a much improved story. All round a lot of fun! Not going to change the gaming market, but well worth getting for some fun games to be played
