In Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, your Royal Court is one of the most important tools at your disposal. Your choice of Knights greatly influences your capabilities and sets the tone for your style of gameplay.

  • Marshals lead your armies into battles to conquer your enemies and defend your lands
  • Diplomats are capable of turning even your greatest enemies into trustworthy friends. Use them to create strong defensive and offensive pacts, negotiate marriages, and make sure that your friends have your back in times of need
  • Merchants can not only increase your income by trading with your neighbors, but also import needed goods to bolster your economy or go on a voyage in search for new riches
  • Clerics take care of all your kingdom’s spiritual needs and play a vital role when it comes to the population’s education, happiness and culture

Choose out of over 100 different military units ranging from English longbowman over fierce Nordic warriors to powerful siege engines and assemble great armies to defend your borders and bring the fight to your enemies.

Ita a good game, but not a 2. This is the definition edition of the first game. Hope the next game, will made some improvments. U can use mods to make better the game. Its a golden egg. Hope somebody will make a good 3. Release. Totalwar like ish but not.

2/10 I have over 2000 hours in the first game, and I’ve been waiting for a sequel for more than 10 years. Everything I feared as a true fan of the game has come true in the second installment. The AI, battle graphics and animations, economy balance, unit balance, sound, and many other aspects have seen almost no improvements. The game feels like a failed remake.

  • The AI hasn’t seen ANY significant improvements
  • The graphics and animations in auto and real time battles are far below average

It's fun to play. The gameplay resembles a simplified version of a combination of CK3 and Medival Total War. Interesting mechanics, quite demanding development, sometimes you have to think about what is more important at a given moment, Ai opponents do not sleep and are active towards each other and the player, although Ai could be improved

They kept the charm of the first game with few changes to the formula. More like a soft reboot, which for me is a good thing. The map is really beautiful, very relaxing to look at for hours. Which can be said about the whole game, it is very charming and relaxing to play, more accessible than other Grand Strategy games, but with enough complexity to keep you glued to the monitor.
