Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections for PC is a turn-based action roleplaying fighting game featuring characters from the immensely popular Naruto anime series and the seventh in the Ultimate Storm series. Because the game’s release coincided with the 20th anniversary of the original anime, it features content and storylines from all the previous Ninja Storm games along with a brand-new, original storyline.



About the Game


Naruto is the OG of the series, and Boruto is his son, and the protagonist of the newer stories and games: this game has the best of the old and the new, with a wealth of content from the older games and stories alongside a new Boruto-based storyline for you to play through. As well as this, the game boasts a staggering 130 characters from the Naruto/ Boruto universe, all of which are playable.
More than this, many of the characters interact with each other and if you combine the right set of characters, you can unlock new levels and interesting cut scenes. For example – playing with Naruto, Kushina, and Minato shows the entire family fighting together in a battle scene. This offers a great deal of replayability as you can try out all sorts of likely and unlikely combos to see who works best together – and who does not!



For those who have always struggled with the complicated series of button presses needed for fancy moves, there is a new, accessible Simple Control Mode which is great for newbies, those who just want some mindless fun and stress-free playing – and it doesn’t really detract from your interest in and engagement with the game, so it can be a win-win all round, offering different ways to play depending on your mood.
The game recreates the anime’s art style, which is sure to please fans of the series, even as it shifts the torch from dad Naruto to his son, Boruto. Gameplay is familiar, with two players facing off in an arena and doing their best to defeat the other using simple attacks, combo attacks, dodges and a series of other moves that you will learn as you play through. You can also tag out, changing your current character from one of three others during the fight.



The Nitty Gritty


The game characters range from the 124 known characters to newcomers such as Asura Otsutsuki and Indra, and you can choose any of them to make up your team. You can also pick up to six abilities to deploy against your foes, and your characters can ‘awaken’ into a new form – Naruto’s nine-tailed fox is a particular treat – all of which are used in your attempt to finish the battle – successfully!
The game offers easy to use controls, intuitive gameplay and multiple campaigns, all of which ensures, along with the endlessly customisable team combinations, that you will enjoy playing through, no matter if you are a die-hard fan of the series or a first timer seeing what all the hype is about.



Ways to Play


There are several ways to enjoy the game:

  • History Mode: perfect for newcomers, history mode will take you right through the history of Naruto from the very first story, up to the present. You can read story lore, replay epic battles, and watch significant cut scenes – whatever you like. It’s a great way to catch up with 500 episodes of the show and 72 books without all the watching or reading!

  • Special Story Mode: Single play your way along Boruto’s story and help him discover who the mysterious Merz is, and why he is trying to start a war

  • Online Mode: Customise and power up your favourite team and then wait to be matched with another online player in a head-to-head match. You can choose, in this mode, whether you want to play a casual match, for fun, or in a ranked match to make it onto the leaderboard

  • Offline Free Mode: You can choose if you want to play against the computer or hold an offline tournament

    When I see all the comments here, I'm kinda lucky.

    I don't own Shinobi Striker and the Key worked without any issues.

    Indeed, it's a good game but it needs to be fixed ! There is too many issues in game and no possibility to use the menu because if you change anything (language, resolution, etc) the game will crash !

    My advise to y'all is to buy this game when the problems are fixed or you'll be disappointed :/

    • A lot of characters
    • Very Dynamic gameplay
    • Too much issues (FPS and settings)
    • Impossible to change voices language
    • Gameplay is sometimes really chaotic

    The code works now. Despite having had to wait for some time and some more since my internet is rather slow, it's nice to be able to play the game still on the weekend even if it is just one day instead of the whole week.
