Medieval Dynasty – Ultimate Edition feels like stepping into a living, breathing medieval story where you build your own legacy from scratch. You don’t just survive — you rise from being a lone hunter to a respected leader, crafting tools, building structures, and eventually growing a thriving village and your own dynasty in a beautifully detailed open world.

What makes the Ultimate Edition special is how complete it feels right from the start. You get the full game plus a Digital Supporter Pack, the Official Guidebook, and even the Official Cookbook — the latter letting you recreate some of the game’s rustic medieval recipes in real life if you want to take the experience beyond the screen.

Out in the world you’ll hunt and gather resources, chop wood, farm, trade, and craft hundreds of items while managing hunger, stamina, weather, and the changing seasons. The survival systems and village mechanics blend seamlessly: you’ll be balancing daily life, building homes and workshops, and even forming relationships and family ties that shape how your dynasty continues to grow.

There’s also co‑op multiplayer, so you can explore the valleys and share the struggle — and the fun — with up to three friends as you carve out your place in this immersive medieval sandbox.

If you like games that let you grow at your own pace, craft your own story, and shape a world through choices rather than strict goals, Medieval Dynasty – Ultimate Edition is a really rewarding package — rich in content, deep in mechanics, and full of old‑world charm.

*Really bad AI that you constantly have to micro manage. Even tho the dews swore you don't have to.

*Extremely little to do in the game. All the quests are horrible fetchquests that essentially boils down to craft or hunt X amount of this item. Then just changing the amount needed.

*Barely any voiced dialouge, and the werry little there is, is wasted on game, move and music reference. You'll hear kids in the game yell out dragonballz referenses every 10 seconds. And they aparently got the cheapest voice actors they could get. Like a 20 year old acting as if they were a 80 year old in a mocking way. Its difficult to describe how bad it is. You probbaly remember how you or your friends tried to Play pretend as a old person as a kid? Yea that's how these adult voiceactors do it.

*You are limited to where you can build, as there is seasonal camps littering the landscape, and there is also permanent ruined buildings every where that can't be repaired or deconstructed. So you'll allways be limited to where you can build your village.

*Ontop of that the world outside the main villages are pretty much dead. No patrolling guards or villagers traveling between villages. no bandit camps untill lategame, and even when they appare they barely pose any danger. (And they don't attack your village or any other ones for that case.)

*The animations look and feel like temporary placeholders that the devs never bothered to update, They are stiff, and feel like they don't do what they are supposed to do.

*I guess the only really good thing the game got going is it's visuals and world map. All of the rest is at best a werry low meh

As a game, i would give this game a 3/10

One of the better games I've yet to play, it's so playful and imaginative that it deserves, if not the first, then one of the top spots for games
  • We need to continue refining this game and making improvements

The game is really far for an early access game. It has great potentials and the developers are constantly working on improving the game. Building and crafting has a nice system. Game settings are adjustable (multipliers and such). You can even get a wife and kid!
  • Good game
  • Pretty balanced survival
  • Resources you pick up are the amount you see
  • NPCs look gorgeous
  • NPCs are very robotic
  • Unlockable skills and buildings are quite difficult to gain
  • I had to google a lot to understand certain concepts of the game

Really enjoying this game. Very active devs pushing out updates pretty consistently. Very enjoyable medieval sim.
Very similar to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. If you liked that then you will probably like this.
  • A lot to do at first
  • Dynamic quests to work towards
  • Legacy system where you will eventually play as your kids
  • Can get a little boring once you've built everything
  • Getting people to like you is painful and chancy

Its early access, Currently as of OCT 17 2020 there is no multiplayer. Wildlife AI is equal to that of a potato and surviving in the game is pretty tame. Overall, good for a WIP as long as devs dont give up on the project
  • New
  • Easy survival
  • Current Updates by Devs
  • Easy to understand
  • Huge Map
  • Clunky
  • Primative AI
  • Dialogue is copy and pasted
  • Early Access
  • Dense Foliage, yet still blocky
