Apart from the high amount of handholding when it comes to the interactivity of both gameplay and wtih the environment, this is quite the 50's sci-fi flavored mystery that sucked me in with it's dynamic, book-like story telling and made it hard for me to put down like with any good book.

Highly recommended if you're able to enjoy what is basically a walking simulator.
  • The dynamic storytelling
  • Voiceacting
  • The 50's sci-fi look and feel.
  • A high amount of handholding by the game taking away any challenge or explorative thinking.

Great game, it is a nice and touching story.

It's me but I can't play the game due to the horrible movement. I get horribly nauseated because the screen keeps moving up and down and left and right. It's okay when you walk but you have to keep moving the camera to interact with your surroundings. It feels a bit like the head bob with walking except only with interactions.

It's a shame though because I would have loved playing the game, it's absolutely beautiful and the story seems nice (the 30 minutes I've actually played it).

Its a great, calm story and perfect adaptation. Recommend to every fan of the book. The game introduce players to one of the most intriguing theory about the existence of life, plus it has a few good lines about Lem's ideas and work overall.

I think The Invincible is more than just a “walking simulator.” The vibe is great, the music is awesome, and even with the slow parts, it’s a really memorable and personal experience.
  • - Very engaging story from start to finish;
  • - Beautiful visuals and unique atmosphere;
  • - Amazing soundtrack;
  • Slow start
  • Character walks too slowly

A very good walking simulator. You definitely need to be a fan of narrative based games to enjoy The Invincible. Think 8 hours completion is just right for this kind of game. Love the comic side of the game as you progress, thought that was a lovely entry to the game. Your choices I think do affect certain endings, but not a considerably. Overall a nice game to chill and wind down to.

A nice story, well written, with a particular atmosphere. More a walking simulator, it was ok for me but could be annoying for some. Compatible with team Deck.

  • The atmosphere on the planet

This is a fantastic atompunk adventure set in the world of Stanislaw Lem's novel The Invincible. The game is a walking simulator so you have not much else to do than walking. But what atmosphere, music, sounds and story! It is like being in a 60's scifi world but more. The story kept me hooked on until the end. There are multiple endings. The protagonist is likeable and non-violence plays a part in the game, which is rare in the games I played. And true to Lem"s original message. This is a work of love and art. I highly encourage you to play it.
  • Fantastic visuals
  • Good music
  • Good story
  • Too short for some
  • Not much to do aside of walking
