Before I begin, please note a game breaking bug exists for the newest computer chips. Please check if you chip is one of those affected because if not you can't play the game.

Total war napoleon is a historical real time strategy game.

It runs well even on older computers and its graphics are still great despite it being decently old. The game has many campaigns that take you through napoleon's exploits, as well as an additional 2 campaigns where you are against him.

I think the 2 best campaigns are the ones that you don't actually play as france in, the peninsular campaign and the coalition campaign.

Its quite fun to build the nation you choose to resist the extremely powerful french empire, and equip your nation to later take its place as hegemon of europe.

The only real disappointing thing is that the campaign maps aren't too big, and certain key nations like the ottomans are only playable in custom battles or multiplayer ones.

Despite that the game you get is very polished and has few bugs, and has a great modding community that have successfully made modification for other time periods, like one of them that is set in 1914.

Overall I reccommend this if you are a fan of good strategy games or are a history buff, if you are both please don't hesitate in picking this up.
