It’s been 20 years since the events of the original game. The virus won, and humanity is slowly dying. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news, and connects the few remaining survivor settlements in barren lands devastated by the zombie virus. However, your true goal is to find your little sister Mia, who you left behind as a kid to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Haunted by the past, you eventually make the decision to confront it when you learn that Mia may still be alive in Villedor — the last city standing on Earth.
You quickly find yourself in a settlement torn by conflict. You’ll need to engage in creative and gory combat, so hone your skills to defeat hordes of zombies and make allies. Roam the city, free run across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot in remote areas, and be wary of the night. With every sunset, monsters take control of the streets.
Fifteen years ago, humanity was devastated by the Fall — a catastrophic event that would change the world forever. With the Harran virus spreading around the globe, people quickly found out that all hope for tomorrow is lost. By 2036, only a few settlements remain, and humanity is slowly dying, making way for the new species out there — a horde of relentless zombies.
Welcome to Villedor, one of the last bastions of humanity. During the day, survivors still try to have a life here and find a false sense of normalcy. Relationships are formed, dreams are dreamed, and life carries on. On the surface, everything seems… fine. Until sunset, that is. With the last ray of light dying out, other, more dreadful, dwellers of The City crawl out of their gloomy interiors, taking over the streets. If you are not vigilant and stay out too long in the dark, you may never return.
Not all fights can be won. Sometimes it’s best to run and, thankfully, you have the skills for it. Parkour lets you escape when odds are not in your favor. Jump from rooftop to rooftop, swing across the cityscape, ride ziplines, and much more. Whatever you do, experience a unique sense of freedom as you freerun across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot or while running away from the dangers of the night.
In a world as dangerous as this one, only the strongest survive. Whether you prefer to smash, slice or dismember those who stand in your way, you have to be creative about it to make it through. And who says you need weapons? Utilize the entirety of your parkour moveset to get the jump on your enemies. Learn the ways of combat and parkour to feel the crunch of skulls and slices of flesh as you swing weapons or use your moves to fend off any forms of danger. And let’s not forget that Villedor has weapons that put the most advanced post-apocalyptic armories to shame.
Surviving in Villedor is easier with friends. Team up with up to 3 other players and increase your chances out there. Unravel the story together, take on Pilgrim Outpost challenges, or simply wreak havoc on the city streets.
A little disturbing during the first missions, Dying Light 2 is indeed the successor to the first opus which has retained the best mechanics and offers prettier graphics.
I appreciate the greater heaviness brought to the movements which gives more realism to the pursuits, but the weapons ultimately lose their interest by being irreparable! In fact, only the modules installed on them extend their lifespan. Needless to say, it leaves you with a bitter taste when you come across a very good weapon.
On the other hand, the game is still much more complicated than the first. Night sessions are stressful, and you tend to break out in a sweat when a screamer makes his friends come round.
I highly recommend that the last few bugs are fixed and that the game is even a little better optimized! (I have to change my key to crouch and increase brightness after each launch of the game)
Was really disappointed with this game, i really loved the first one, this one just feels off for me. Don't get me wrong, the game looks good, and runs good, but it seems like they overdid it since the first game. I hope in future updates it will be better.
Great game worth to buy if u played 1st , eventho its little different than 1 since virus won and spreaded , but still not big disappoint + alot fun awaits u . Make good choices in game hihi
Fast and easy, not gonna lie. I am exciting to try Dying Light 2 because I am playing Dying Light 1 right now and I am enjoying it a lot so I am pretty fired up right now to try the second one after I finish the first.
Great game if you want some free world runner with some tasks and like to upgrade guns and kill some zombies. Really upgraded since the first game came out, and mechanics are easy to use and easy to learn.
dying light 2.. man the story is super mediocre and awful, dying light 1 had much better story but the combat in this game is very, and I mean very satisfying. The kills are way more brutal and the graphics are way better, sorry dying light 1.. i think i prefer this one better
but like if you completed the first game and really want to try this one, it's worth it but I have to tell you one thing.. the first part of the game is fucking ass and made me want to jump in a pile of volatiles.. BUT it gets better and better throughout the game.. mostly the last part of the game but yea i totally think this game is worth playing for like 18 dabloons
its fun but if your coming into it thinking itll be the exact same game as Dying light 1 youd be wrong, the combat is different in a more light feeling way and the physics is toned down alot, but it dosent mean its not fun, i think the games combat and parkour sadly dont feel like they syngerzie well but on their own IT IS FUN. Story is ass though but it has its ups
Good combat, though a bit floaty
Amazing parkour which adds on to the first games
Graphics are amazing BUT set the game to gloomy mode from Normal it will look 100x better
floaty combat and 0 synegy between parkour and combat
runs like shit if you dont have something up to a 3080 or 3070 ti
Dying Light 2 might not be the best game out there, but it delivers a solid dose of action and entertainment. The parkour is fluid, the combat is satisfying, and exploring the open world is genuinely enjoyable. Some parts feel a bit rough around the edges, and the story doesn't always hit the mark, but if you're in it for fast-paced fun and zombie-smashing mayhem, it’s definitely worth your time.
Alright, so I finally got my hands on Dying Light 2: Stay Human - Reloaded Edition, and after sinking a good chunk of time into it, I have some thoughts. It’s definitely a step up from the original release, but is it the perfect zombie parkour experience? Not quite. Let’s break it down.
Parkour Feels Better Than Ever
More Story Depth & Better Side Quests
Performance & Stability Have Improved
some quests still feel like the same “go here, fetch this, fight that”
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a massive open-world action RPG with a focus on parkour and survival horror. It features a compelling story with meaningful choices, a variety of enemies and weapons, and a vast and dangerous world to explore.
The game's parkour system is fluid and responsive, and it's a lot of fun to navigate the world using it. The combat is also satisfying, with a variety of weapons and combos to choose from.
However, the game is not without its flaws. The story can be a bit slow at times, and the side quests are often repetitive. Additionally, the game has been plagued with technical issues at launch, including bugs, glitches, and performance problems.
Overall, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a good game, but it's not without its flaws. It's a must-play for fans of the original Dying Light, but it's worth waiting for a patch or two to address the technical issues before picking it up.
Good game, with a good story! I really like the physics of the movement, the parkour is well done, I also like the game, the graphics are quite good. I would definitely recommend the game! There is still room for progress and improvement. Rating 8.7/10! I also recommend for IG!
played about 9h already , very good game. different in certain ways from the dying light 1 . worth to buy for who likes this types of game. also gets a lot moore fun in co op mode. Night mode is awesome so far
Awesome game and runs great on my computer! Parkour style all the way and the zombies is really tough, especially in night mode. So watch out and run like hell if you are chased.
Played Dying Light since 2015, so this is awesome with the second part!
This is so far the best game I ever played, and to be honest I want to spent more time on it to finish all quests and collect the rewards. Techland has done such a great job and I am not even paid to say it. Guys this is a no brainer. This game will hook you up for hundreds of hours
The game at the state that it is right now its not good. It's hard for me to recommend it even on a discount. Dying light 1 is still better than this game imo. Go buy dying light 1 instead. You'll have a lot more fun, a proper mp experience and a lot more things to do. I cannot recommend dying light 2 ATM.
If you came for the graphics you'll stay for the graphics
The story is not great but it is OK
The Main voice actor is just amazing
The world feels empty
The world is empty
After completing the story there's nothing else to do. Worthile
Got the key fast as usual from instant, but the game gets boring very fast in my opinion. Graphics are nice, combat is pretty smooth, but I wasn't interested in the story or the characters whatsoever and the weapons and armor and very repetitive.
